Been there twice in the past two weeks and had the same girl serve me. Very polite and friendly but needs to learn the menu.
The first time I ordered, I asked for 3 chicken buddy burgers and one beef. She didn’t understand what I meant by beef. I repeated myself 3 times giving her the benefit of the doubt that she couldn’t hear me so I had to ask for cow before she finally understood.
Then I asked to have lettuce, tomato and onion added as they don’t come with them. She told me they did so I had to explain that you have to ask for these extra toppings for the buddy burgers. She even went to the back and asked the kitchen.
Then my order came to $21.17 in which I gave her $30.15 cash. She proceeded to tell me it was 17 cents so I had to explain to her a few times that pennies have been out of circulation for years and when paying by cash, you round up or down. She still didn’t understand.
I should have checked my bag before leaving, guess what, no onion, lettuce or tomato on any of them! My bad for not checking.
Back again today, same girl and same conversation about adding the toppings. She again went to the back to confirm with the kitchen and nope, they don’t come with them, you need to ask for these extra toppings.
This time I checked my food and they at least got 2 of the 3 toppings. I didn’t dare pay by cash and have to go through that conversation again.
I’m not one to complain and write bad reviews but after going through the same issues two weeks in a row Im hoping management might see this and help with training. You know it’s bad when the customer has to explain to the employee about...
Read moreDuring a recent audit of several food establishments, I observed and documented multiple serious violations of basic food safety protocols. Most notably, I recorded clear video evidence of kitchen staff handling raw meat, touching various surfaces (including handles, utensils, and containers), and then immediately preparing food—all without washing their hands. This consistent lack of hygiene was alarming.
To verify the risk, I used a microbiological testing kit on-site and later submitted food samples to EMSL Canada for full laboratory analysis. The results, which came back within a week, confirmed the presence of Shigella spp. —a dangerous bacteria commonly transmitted through fecal contamination and improper hand hygiene.
Following this confirmation, the results were reported to Public Health and, in the interest of public awareness, also shared on TikTok. This wasn’t done for sensationalism, but rather to highlight a real and present danger to unsuspecting consumers who deserve to know how their food is being prepared.
Consumers deserve safe, hygienic food. I urge Public Health to take swift action and recommend that others remain vigilant when dining out. Serious foodborne illnesses are preventable—if proper practices...
Read moreI would recommend not eating here it is very expensive for what you get. The fountain drinks were not filled completely full. The fries were only half cooked and only some were warm. The chicken fingers were not hot at all, they were luke warm at best. The burgers were ok but only luke warm. The wait was about 15minutes as this on route is very busy. They forget to give us our ordered drinks with the food. We had to ask to recieve our drinks after being handed our food already. It was hard to hear the order numbers/names being called due to all the noise and people. You only get one napkin per person with your order and their also was no open seats to sit...
