Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Barrie

Hands down the worst Popeyes I have ever been too. I went and got 2 5 piece tender combo with a poutine. The total came out to $48. Instead of me getting the tenders, like I paid for, they gave me nuggets. I don't understand how a "cook" can mix up nuggets with tenders. The poutine was completely cold and the pop machine had no ice and only 2 drinks available. I have never experienced what an absolute joke of a restaurant as this one is. My husband’s comment, when he returned to the car with our order: “Well, I have several disappointments.” No 2 pc chicken (was told 15 min wait), no mashed potatoes and no Mac and cheese sides. The soda machine was out of most of our preferred choices. They subbed in chicken tenders for the 2pc, but forgot the dipping sauce. They packaged my husband’s side with my meal and because of all the confusing substitutions, I ate his side, not knowing they were my husbands. How could so many things go wrong...

Terrible service and zero communication skills from the employees. They don’t have no chicken ready. They told me to wait 12 minutes and I did more than that but still none ready. I believe they only start frying depending on busyness but it is a fast-food restaurant and I don’t think anyone wants to eat their chicken oily super hot right from the fry. They have to rest at least 10 minutes for service anyway...
