Barrie Barbeque Chicken — Restaurant in Barrie

Changing my original review. Use to love this place but the last several times we have ordered wings. (About 3 times over the last year) they have tasted rancid. We will get a few good ones that taste like they should and then ones that taste like they’ve literally gone rancid. We had told the owner a while ago when it had first happened to us. My husband had called to let him know. He didn’t seem to care. We waited almost a year before trying them again because we were that grossed out. The next time was just as bad. Waited a couple more months and again it happened. Today was our final time trying. I thought we had a good batch as we got 4 wings in and no issues. Then, it happened again. Multiple rancid tasting ones. Tired of waisting our money here. The place is getting more and more grungy too. Used the debit machine and it looked like it had not been cleaned in months. I was scared to even touch the thing. Will never be back and for health and safety purposes I do...

Hands down, best wings in Barrie ! I cant speak for others but i would like to say , the hot wings here are the best in town!! The cpl that run this little hot spot are very kind and friendly. I am happy to see they are still here. I stopped in for a cpl double hot wings on my way back from up north this eve. Brought wings and a great lg ceaser. The dressing was real nice. Wings were hot but not over kill well saused and deep fried to oerfection. Only sat for 10 mins waiting. No probs , i enjoyed chatting to another waiting on ribs. I hear she loves bbc ribs. I have been ordering wings at this same little place well over 30 years. Its been years but so glad i decided to get off 400 and drive through town so i could stop here. 5 stars. Thank you....

I started coming to this restaurant 30 years ago when I was a teen going Barrie Central Collegate. I was new to town and the other kids I hung around with told me that this restaurant had the best wings in town. Throughout the years I would come back and order chicken or wings and ribs. I visited the restaurant tonight for dinner I asked the owner if he is still the same owner and he said yes hes been there for 35 years. Turns out they still have the best wings in town. It's like going back home for dinner. Thank you for the years of dedication to serving Barrie with quality food...
