Burrito Boyz Essa Rd — Restaurant in Barrie

I want to start by saying I typically never leave bad reviews, but I just could not let this go (see my other reviews). Also, we have ordered from this location many times before and had a great experience. This time was very different. Food was 20 minutes late and cold because the Uber driver made multiple stops. Not really the restaurants fault, but unfortunately for them it is part of the experience. We ordered two large gluten free burritos. What we received looked more like two small quesadillas. I refer to them now as "quesarritos". They were under an inch thick. One of the burritos was not even wrapped properly and was open. I wish I would have thought to take a picture, but we were so hungry and upset that we just ate them. Also, we are from an older generation and taking pictures of our food is not really something we think about. When we called the restaurant the manager was extremely defensive/argumentative and did not want to take any ownership for our food. Basically he said it was our fault and all he could do was make us new ones...but that we would have to pick them up. What he suggested kind of defeated the whole purpose of having food delivered. In a situation like this the manager should have given all of our money back to cover the issue and then give us coupons to entice us to come back. Seems like there are discrepancies between the Uber eats app and the restaurant. We ordered large gluten free burritos and the manager said they do not have large. We ordered sour cream on the side and the manager said they do not do that. Unfortunately, in this day and age, all it takes is one bad experience to lose a customer and get a bad google review. I get that this is 1st world problem and there are bigger things to worry about in life, but when you work hard for your money and then feel like you have been ripped off, it does not feel good. We will never order from them again. On to the next...

Just want to share experience from my recent order , i ordered bean burritos from uber and they gave me chicken burritos instead, though I’m vegetarian, i called them solving my issue they offered me the replacement i was good with that , i just drove 10min there again just to get my order …. That mistakes happen but the lady on the front desk was showing attitude about that she made bad faces when i ask for my replacement she be like can i have that order back please…..are u serious mam? I garbaged it !! We asked for our complementary drinks for the inconvenience she started making weird faces again like she was not ready to give us drinks …. The guy working over there was good he gave us drinks as well as complimentary nachos ! Thanks for that …….. she started shouting on the staff as soon as we left everything was visible from the mirror !!! Just want to tell you it’s not about ur 2$ drinks, we can buy them the thing was customer service what u can offer…..i was good with going there , that mistakes happen but after this i don’t think soo i will be back poor customer...
