Our recent visit to Foodiez left much to be desired. A group of nine of us, returning from a camping trip, were craving some delicious food to satisfy our hunger. However, what we encountered at this food truck was far from satisfying.
We ordered a variety of dishes including pani puri, chana kulcha, and pav bhaji, hoping to treat our taste buds to some authentic flavors. Unfortunately, the reality was quite the opposite. The food was not only below average but downright horrible. The pani puri lacked freshness and the chana kulcha was bland and tasteless. As for the pav bhaji, it was greasy and lacked any semblance of flavor.
To make matters worse, not only did the food fail to meet our expectations, but it also left several of us with upset stomachs. This was a disappointing and unpleasant experience, to say the least.
Furthermore, the total bill of 160 dollar seemed exorbitant considering the poor quality of the food and the subsequent discomfort it caused. It's safe to say that none of us will be returning to Foodiez anytime soon, and we certainly cannot recommend it to others seeking a satisfying dining experience.
Not sure how they have a 4 star rating.
Overall, our experience at Foodiez was nothing short of a culinary disaster, and we do not...
Read moreWe ordered food at 7. 20 and the waiter promised that the food would be ready in 45 mins. We reached 8.02 pm, but 2 out of 4 items we ordered were not ready. My 5-year-old kid's burger came at 8.15 pm, which was too late. Also, she ignored our instruction not to have onions inside my kid's burger. My kid was upset that his food did not arrive. I told the waiter to make the burger based on our instructions and told her if she cannot make our food based on our requirements, she should not charge me. I guess she understood and returned the money for that item. Around 10 mins later, an egoist, my be the owner, walked to our table and asked if I had any problems and told me I cannot disrespect his employee. I was clear that if he/his employee cannot get me the food as per my need and in the promised time, I would be unhappy and I may question. After all, I am not here to pay and listen to whatever they have to say or to disrespect my time. You can get better naans in Costo than here. Never going again! Not for families! They just do not care! Not kids friendly! Not...
Read moreMe and my friends recently visited Foodiez Barrie food truck expecting a delightful indian street food experience, but I was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the food, especially the pav bhaji, kulcha naan and pani puri.
The pav bhaji was a letdown from the start. The bhaji itself was overly greasy and lacked the rich, flavourful spice blend that is essential for this dish. It tasted bland and felt like it had just the paste but no veggies blended in it.
The pani puri was even more disheartening. The pani lacked the tangy, spicy punch that makes pani puri so irresistible. Instead, it tasted watered down and lacked the bold flavors.
The chole-naan was stale. The bread didnot tasted fresh at all.
We literally spent $160 on the food that we didn’t eat at all… threw in their bins!!!
Overall, my experience with this place was disappointing. The place lacked flavours for sure and they totally lacked the cooking skills. I wish i could give them zero stars. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for...
