Subway — Restaurant in Barrie

My friend and I went here yesterday. She ordered a steak sub on Italian herb and I ordered a number 20 “little Sicily”.

The only things we had in common about our subs were the buns, sub sauce, mozzarella and cucumbers.

Right off the bat I can tell that the station wasn’t cleaned properly the night before there were finger prints and stuff on the metal and the lady who made our food. But what really threw me off was the fact that the lettuce looked almost wilted And the “fresh” Mozzarella was sitting Yellowish liquid.. which isn’t normal it’s supposed to be a milky white liquid if anything. Which has me wondering now if the mozzarella was cross Contaminated.

But I didn’t think much Of it at the time because we only had a small breakfast And we’re both extremely hungry. She finished her food and was completely fine, but not even 15 minutes after I had finished my sub I had the worst stomachache I have had in a long time I ended up having to take three Pepto-Bismol’s just to make it back to her place And that’s when she ended up feeling sick as well.

I ended up with a fever, Projectile vomiting and diarrhoea all night. She has had the chills, nausea and stomach aches all day today. It has now been more than 24 hours And I am still feeling extremely sick. I could actually barely keep any food down today..

We went to order a sun for us today around 10:40 am or so and there was an indian girl with specs which was “extremely rude” for no exact reason. She seemed to be pissed off because we went to order? I think that’s her job. We don’t expect a smile all the time but atleast she should have basic etiquettes to talk to customers. She was just saying “next” so rudely The whole time we ordered something. When we asked her if she has any more sauces or not she literally made a very rude expression and said “ you can read it” and then went away without serving us and didn’t even came back and asked once if we were ready! She came back after 2-3 minutes and started asking very very rudely about sauces. We literally stopd there for 2-3 minutes watching, waiting and expecting that she would come back. That is very unprofessional, unwelcoming, rude and unnecessary for whatever she did. I don’t understand why she is even allowed to work at front and deal with customers!! She should be PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED FIRST TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS. She is unfit for a customer service role. Didn’t expect this kind of a treatment at all! Very unsatisfied!! Disgusting staff!!!!! Everyone sooo rude and with horrible attitude. Except 1 guy he was really nice idk the name.

ATTENTION Extremely cross contamination in food. I too work in subway so i know the standards. Today i went there and ordered six inch veggie sub. I am a pure vegetarian I had to tell them for twice to change gloves. 1 guy just gave me a look. He used meat knife to close my veggie sub!!! When i told him he just looked at me!

I would like to acknowledge there is one indian guy from Haryana maybe idk his name he is sooo well mannered and looks after each customer patiently.

Also, I asked for double chocolate cookie they gave me red velvet. I was in a rush so i didnt check it. I understand it happens in rush but the cookie was like a rock , OVERBAKED! i threw it, waste of money.

If we ask them something they reply sooooo arrogantly and make us feel embarrassed!!!! I am going since last 2 days and both the days same service.
