Used to be such a reliable location. Now with the staff being full of international students who don’t speak very good English at all, who are doing all of the communicating. I ordered through the app: a bacon & egg farmers wrap & a sausage & egg wrap , and a hash brown. The app doesn’t allow you to buy a side of sauce, so I’ll often ask in store when picking up the order if I can have the little cup of a side of chipotle sauce for my hash brown, well I did that here and the dude says “you already have chipotle sauce on wraps” so I reply “yes, I’d like a small cup with a side of chipotle sauce to dip my hash brown” and the kid looked at me like I had two heads and spoke in Latin. So I said again, “yknow, the little cup for sauce, filled with chipotle sauce” so he nods, walks away and comes back with an empty 250ml cup that they use for soups and chili and hands it to me and goes “here you go, cup.” So I gave up as I was in a bit of a hurry and I just left to go back to my car. Then I started my drive, and realized these people made two sausage and egg wraps both with extra chipotle sauce. Well my girlfriend has an eating disorder and doesnt eat your sausages, and doesn’t like wraps drowned in sauce. So she went to work with no food in her today all because your staff at this location doesn’t know how to read a damn menu. Wanna know the worst part? The bacon wrap was at the TOP of the receipt as I figured if they got anything wrong it wouldn’t be the FIRST item on the order. I’m done with Tim Hortons. BK buying them was the first downfall, hiring entire staffs full of international students who’s first language isn’t even English, who don’t even know how to follow directions in general was the second and final downfall. Tim hortons being a Canadian staple is a memory...
Read moreI visited the Tim Hortons at Livingstone in Barrie on June 28th around 9:44 PM. I initially ordered a small coffee triple-triple and a small honey lemon, but then asked to replace the triple-triple with another small honey lemon instead. When we received the drink, my friend noticed it was curdled. It turned out the staff had mixed the triple-triple with the honey lemon.
Even a child knows that adding lemon to tea with milk causes it to curdle. I went back to explain the issue politely, but the Indian Gujarati girl at the drive-thru kept arguing instead of listening. I even offered to pay for a new one, but she didn’t understand and was very dismissive. I showed her the difference between the two cups, but she still refused to acknowledge the mistake. She even closed the drive-thru window on my face, clearly showing she didn’t care about what the customer was trying to express.
Very disappointed with the customer service at this location—rude attitude and lack of basic knowledge about drinks. I will let this matter go, but I truly hope no other customer has to face such unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour from the staff in the future. This is definitely not the experience I expect from...
Read moreI went to the drive thru in this location, it is my regular tim hortons I go to every day. Today was 2 cars in front of me and no one behind me. When I got to the window I pulled out my debit card to pay for my order and when I was putting away my debit card Pooja right away said here you go, knowing I'm putting away my card to have free hands to grab my order, she then repeated herself louder here you go. I looked at her and asked her what's the rush? I'm just putting away my card and there is no one behind me anyways and she responded in arguable voice that I don't care about that, we have numbers we have to follow it, it's fast pace. Many times I was waiting for minutes to pickup my order at the window and they were busy talking, they didn't care about a fast pace then? I just don't appreciate to be treated like I'm invading their place of work. I also don't appreciate to be rushed when putting away my cards. Pooja needs more patience with customers and improve...
