My souse and I went there tonight to get their wings. We had went a couple of times before on a Tuesday because it is a great price. When we went inside we weren't acknowledge but we knew the drill and sat ourselves at a table. We waited about 5 mins before a server came over with menu's and to take our drink orders. We ordered waters with lemons like we do any other time as we are not drinking sugar. The server left and came back fairly quickly with the waters. The server then said she was going to give us a min to look at the menus and she would be back to take our orders. The server left and was gone almost 15 mins. In that time we saw her come out of the kitchen and look over at our table 3 times and we had the menus down and on the corner so she would know we were no longer looking at them and she didn't come to our table. The server also served the table next to us twice and wouldn't even look at us. I then went and grabbed another server who was then able to waive ours down to come take our order. We then told her that we wanted to order the wings and she told us that we HAD to order some sort of drink in order to get this deal. We asked where it said that we HAD to order a beverage on the menu and she said that it's not on there and then we asked how can you enforce it then? The server then looked away and said it has always been like that. The server also kept asking what server we dealt with before as if that would change her decision on whether or not we had to order drinks. I let her know that we had been there before and we were never told that and asked if it was new? and she said that it was not and that it has always been like that. After going back and forth with her and her finally saying she would get the manager we ended up leaving because we had been there in total about 30 mins. Not a happy person and won't be going back there. This has...

Can't put my finger on exactly what makes me like this place so much, but I do. Just keep doin what yer doin!

Update (Sunday, Apr 10): Okay, it's actually been a dog's age since I've been here during the weekend, but now I know when NOT to go. I've been talking this place up to my partner for a while now and finally brought her in on a Sunday for wings and a beer. I can't say I've met any of the staff that were working but, that's cool. Anyway, the beer's good as always, but the wings were somthin' else - teeny tiny and dry as, well, you know. We let the waiter know and she agreed and said I wasn't the first to complain today, and she snatched them up to take back to the cook for a refire - with my fries; although I did eat half the fries. So my partner ate alone and I watched on. I let the waiter know that if the wings were still coming that I would take them to go. They showed up shortly after with the bill for the full pop. I told her I was surprised to see that the wings weren't comped (did I spell that right?)and she actually snapped at me "well I would have taken them off the bill if you didn't tell me to redo them" (I didn't). Anyway...whatever. I get home and the wings were dried out and gross, although not quite as bad as the first ones...AND there were no fries!!...lol. Anyway, it was probably her first time as a waiter but she cost them a star, and likely a long-time customer....on the weekend for...

I've been to the locker room many times and have enjoyed each visit. Don't let the plaza storefront throw you off, this place is huge on the inside but still is able to keep the local pub feel. They offer free popcorn which is huge plus in my books. I was there two nights ago with a group of friends, and one of them is a huge popcorn aficionado. I mean this guy will stop by the movie theater on his way home from work just to buy a bag of popcorn, and that's no joke. When I showed him the free popcorn machine he lost his mind and quickly filled up two trays.

The food on the menu here is really good. They're homemade burgers are delicious and their chicken wings are big in size. Pro tip: If you order a pound and a half, they let you choose two flavors.

Their home fries here are out of this world! They are kind of like potato wedges but smaller and crispy and moist at the same time.

The deep fried curds are new to the menu and are basically half size mozzarella sticks but you got a bunch of them. They're more like bites. The deep fried mushrooms are also really good.

One of my friends ordered a chicken burger but didn't want the regular bun. The waitress was happy to swap out for a ciabatta bun or whatever else he wanted.

The prices are good, the food is great, and I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for more of a local watering hole as opposed to a corporate feeling...

Ordered wings and nachos for Superbowl since all reviews pointed to Lockerroom with the best wings in Barrie. Ordered at 230 for 415 pickup before the mad rush. Paid and I was walking out i was wondering why I was given 2 bags. L9oked into both bags and realized they also gave me someone else's order. I would say easy 60 wings. I let the waitress know and gave the one bag back . Was surprised she didn't say ty knowing the mistake another waitress made. The nachos were really good. I also ordered the Raging Bull and Piri Piri wings. I felt both orders were overcooked to be honest and I've had wings from many other establishments in Barrie. Most wings regardless of the type of sauce or even if it's a dry rub, the wings should still be a bit juicy on the inside. I was really disappointed. Perhaps because it was Superbowl Sunday and maybe they had a lot of orders to fulfill. I will give them another try. Overall a 3 out of 5

I’ve been going to the Lockeroom for years. Went every week for their wings when I lived in Barrie and even though I’ve moved out of Barrie, I still make a trip to the Lockeroom whenever I’m in town there. Excellent service with friendly and professional staff. Even after months of not going there nearly as often, they still remember me and always make a point of saying hello. Their wings are the best wings I’ve ever had. A number of their sauces are top tier, my personal favourites being red tunder and raging bull. Hot & honey, gar par and stupicide are also very flavourful. Their crinkle cut fries are perfect and have a great seasoning on them. I also recommend their fried shrimp topped with Cajun dry rub seasoning. The best establishment I’ve found for wings, beer and sports everywhere.

Always a fun experience, reasonably priced food and drinks. Yes, it is an older crowd, free popcorn and daily food and drink specials. The ambience is dated, and for sports, bar TVs could be updated. Updated: Reopen with a small parking lot patio. Limited menu and beer selection. The food was excellent as usual. My only complaint and it’s a big one. I’ve been to other restaurants that have reopened and all their servers have their mask on. Not the locker room, their waitresses are serving without a mask. It is problematic, I hope they resolve this issue. I know it was hot out that day 32°C.
