Topper's Pizza — Big Bay — Restaurant in Barrie

A century old tradition with home made recipes and Italian bread crust...are the highlights from the owner's note.

So from branded thought of giving a try. The same was indecisive for a repeat order. Reason observed- -- Topper's Pizza were served with meagre or just face saving toppings. I had term it as Less Topper's Pizza. Same as evident on photos. -- First bite and thereafter didn't offer any flavor or taste.Felt like consuming an ordinarily served dish. -- The pizza base was,something amiss,felt as a dough and not a pizza base. -- The look alike long bread was just not consumed. Photo for ready reference.

Having experienced previous branded and popular pizzas, these didn't blend well our expectations.

Trust concerned have a relook at what is being advertised and actually turned out to customers!

They are hoping to get me a right combo!

My concerns are addressed by such derivatives. It's the little quantity of toppings spread on base as shown in photos. Few pieces only on 1/3 circumference of pizza literally! One paneer crumb per each slice!

Trust they read through my observations which i am trying to put forth in order to get that traditional product...

I was in this location a couple weeks ago and my order I placed through customer service was wrong. I arrived paid for my food and asked for the breadsticks and the gentlemen refused said I need to pay for them when I already paid. He said his order states I didn’t order a family pleaser. I argued and he still refused. I asked at that time that he starts making them well I’m on hold with costumer service and he still refused. I waited almost 45 mins to have the situation fixed. By then my pizza was cold, soggy and the breadsticks I finally got were hard. I emailed customer service to which I’ve not heard back and nor did the store owner who they said would call contact me. I’m utterly disgusted at the way o was treated and the way the situation was handled. I use to love coming to this location but moving forward I won’t return and nor will...

Terrible service. The girl behind the counter was on her cell phone while taking my order. She was getting confused and flustered trying to listen to two people at the same time.

Also, she went straight from the cash register to handling pizza dough without washing her hands. This is the second time I have seen workers not washing hands before handling food.

The girl had her cell with her, engaging in conversation the whole time she was assembling the pizza...putting her phone on the pizza table at each station. Also, she was putting ingredients on my pizza that I did not order. I had to call her over to bring this to her attention.

I really do like Toppers. But I won't be returning unless I get 100% attention from staff when they are working. And wash their hands before...
