Duke and Divine's Beaconsfield is a decent Place to go and grab a meal but I will not come back here to eat anytime soon.
I ordered their Filet Mignon Poutine and it was not the best temperature. I ordered Medium on the Steak and the steak came out to be rare-medium rare. I wanted to return the steak but being a polite person I decided to eat it despite the risks associate it.
I was dissapointed with that. Since I know my medium temperature on a steak.
Madison one of the waitress was a decent and kind and polite. She served us well that Night.
The food on the other hand was not good for me and the poutine was a little salty and they should have a garnish with the poutine. Like something to bring the dish to life.
So maybe I will bring friends and family for drinks and other things like that but I will not eat there for the time being.
I'm indifferent on...
Read moreI've known about this place for years but never went.
The food was great, especially at the price. Super affordable, they have an upstairs that's cool, and tons of people were there. The tuna tacos were amazing! A huge amount of meat, perfectly cooked, great sauce, and I truly struggled to get through all three. The beers are great. They have Bitburger on tap, some great scotch choices, and best of all, their chicken wings are on point!! Super tender, almost as if they were smoked! They have a delicous homade ranch that it comes with, and it was awesome!
The only things I can mention to improve may be the wait time. When it gets busy, there should be someone dedicated to each bar. It took a bit of time to get our first beer, which was a bit frustrating. Also, the tuna could have used some salt or a splash of soya sauce after it's cut to really perfect it, I added salt to my own.
All in all, great experience, and I look forward...
Read moreWe had a craving for pub food and wanted to try something new so took a drive to the Beaconsfield in the West Island for our first time visit to Duke & Devine's (to later learn they also have an outlet in Vaudreuil).
It definitely hit the spot...this two floor IRISH pub maintains that "pub" feel...cozy, intimate and dark-ish. For dinner we had the special of the day...Curry Fried Chicken (slightly spicy and very tasty) as well as the Brisket Sandwich with an Au Jus dip (excellent...even though the meat was slightly dry the dip made it super juicy). Both served with ample amounts of fries. Dessert was an absolutely excellent chocolate brownie with ice cream (possibly one of the best ones we have ever had). Typical to a pub they had an amble selection of beers both bottled and on tap.
The service was very good and the meal was delivered very quickly. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you are craving pub...
