06/16/2023. Haven’t been to Vickie’s for a few years. Arrived about 12:45 and the place was hopping. Got a table right away. The place was very clean and the service was very good. I like you can actually see the cook working at the grill. I also noticed the massive amount FRESH Potatoes ready to be fried. No frozen fries at Vickie’s! I had the Salisbury steak and Jan ordered a grilled chicken burger. Jan said that the grilling chicken burger was very good and she liked MY fries 😡! The Salisbury steak OMG Outstanding. For the second time I had an issue with the cook who I believe is one of the owners. All the food was cold because he uses the grill to heat things up instead of letting them cook to a suitable temperature. Also sent my daughter scrambled eggs that were over cooked and fried like an omelette. Then when I complained and we went to leave he said "you said this last time too" which makes me believe he did it all on purpose. Then when I said it was all cold again he said "I don't care" at this point I definitely got louder and said that he should care and maybe that's the problem. I understand that people have bad days but this wasn't isolated and he let it be known when we left he remembered last time... so why wouldn't you bring...
