FAKE online ordering status
In 2018, we are used to online tracking. Great feature offered by Swiss Chalet ordering online. But not so fast..... Here's what i sent to Customer support
Hi, i ordered a $86.76 meal at 05:44 PM and it arrives at 7:00 pm. Thats way to long imho, the drive between store and my place is exactly 7 mins.
I asked the driver and store supervisor what happened.
Driver: we are really busy tonight for some reason. Also indicated the delivery services multiple vendors. Fair enough, thats happens.
Store Supervisor - Emily (i may be wrong on the name). I asked her why did the 'tracking go from Received, Preparing, On its way, Where 'on its way took' over an hour. She indicated: Don't know, we don't update anything on our end to update that status.. When the driver is available to pick up, then its done up then - a good hour after the order. This means the status of 'On its way' is misinformation. I also verified this with call center (Trish, ticket number 16).
I feel i was mislead a 'tracking service' that cannot be actually tracked.
Please comment (btw the food was good, wings were cold and I'm not sure if i can bring myself to order again, spending $86 and being lied to is tough) Response was "blah blah ... Your comments have been received and will be forwarded to our marketing team to ensure this is looked into as soon...
Read moreIf it was possible to give 0 stars to the Bedford Place Mall location I would. 60 minutes of waiting for a take out meal only to be provided with a completely incorrect order. Multiple customers were disgusted with the speed of the service here today and when one person asked how much longer it would be, the server was very direct and ignorant towards the customer stating "I'm not the one making your food" and walked away. When I was presented with the incorrect food I returned it to the counter and the server was ignorant with me stating it was not wrong. There is a difference between Rice and Fries. When I requested my money back, Emily the manager provided quite a lot of attitude about the situation finally returning most of my money back. The tip apparently remains with them... Pathetic service, will NEVER...
Read moreMy mother and I took my 3 year old grandson today for supper. I ordered him chicken tenders and fries. I asked for a child cup and lid and was told there aren't any as they forgot to order. The tenders were so hard amd dried out I could knock in the table with them and it sounded like my knuckles . My chicken amd rib dinner for 29.99 was dried out and the fries were so over cooked they were hard and crunchy and chicken was dry. The beef stir-fry my mother ordered was so soupy and disgusting she didn't finish it. Used to be so good . .id like to know what happened . I refused to pay for my grandsons dinner as he could only eat a few fries. The young lady serving us was nice and felt bad...not her fault. But the food ...of I could give a negative number I would. ...
