Et Caetera — Restaurant in Beloeil

If you’re in the process of choosing a good restaurant in Vieux Beloeil and your priority is gastronomy and excellent service, this is the place to choose. OK, it’s not located by the river so you don’t have the charm of river and mountain view. However, Et Caetera has better cuisine and more professional service. Also, surprisingly, it’s more economical than the other restaurants in the neighborhood. Another substantial advantage is that here you can bring your own wine which has a considerable impact on your bill. So don’t forget to bring a good bottle of wine from the SAQ because they don’t sell any on premises. Its one or the other here in Quebec. At the time of my visit, this restaurant was only open in the evenings, not for lunch. The outdoor terrasse is where you want to sit on a nice summer evening but it’s a little tight and crowded. They also have plenty of indoor seating which seems more spacious and comfortable. Making a reservation is a must. I had the fried squid which was delicious and served in one piece but sliced (original) and the carré d’agneau which was cooked to perfection (rosé). I highly recommend this restaurant for fine French cuisine and best value...

First time there. Very good service, being with friends in a cozy corner (a bit hot for the one in the corner 😉) gave a sweet atmosphere, but I need to admit the FOOD is outstanding, which is what we should expect from a restaurant! I ordered a Filet Mignon (my fav) medium, not only it was spot-on, but it just melts in your mouth, simply divine! That would've made my evening, but I dared order the apple donuts with caramel coating: fabulous!

I still salivate rethinking about it.

I love the Vieux-Beloeil for their restaurants and nice scenery, but it's worth 110% your money!

Tout était savoureux au take-out!😋Le tartare de saumon et mangue en entrée était fabuleux!La paella était exquise peut être juste un petit moins de jus de citron sur les fruits de mer!La crème brûlée était savoureuse et très délicate au palais et en plus on peut garder le plat en grès(céramique)en souvenir!😊Les beignets chaud aux pommes et à la sauce au caramel et aux noix de grenoble étaient très bon!Le propriétaire est très conciliant pour modifier un repas au goût du client parce que j'avais demander un plat pour quelqu'un d'autre et il me l'a modifié selon son goût et je le remercie!Tout ses employés sont très serviables et très gentils!Et tout était chaud et pourtant je ne vis pas si près de Beloeil!La plupart des contenants pour les mets pour emporter étaient assez solide sauf certains qui auraient pu l'être plus!Les sacs en papier sont bien malgré que les poignées auraient pu être un peu plus solide!L'intérieur du restaurant est simple mais chic et propre!Il y aussi une terrasse!Le restaurant est situé dans une ancienne maison dans le vieux Beloeil qui est jolie et il est situé non loin de la rivière Richelieu un bel endroit pour relaxer avant ou après le repas!Pour ceux qui cherchent des stationnement la ville de Beloeil en met 3 à votre disposition dont un près de la maison funéraire et oui il faut marcher un tout...
