Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Blackfalds

My friends and I had a really disappointing experience at Boston Pizza last night. From the start, our server Tiffany had a very poor attitude. One of my friends forgot her ID, so we were told we had to move from the lounge to the restaurant side — which we completely understood and had no issue with. The problem was the service that followed.

When we were seated in the restaurant, Tiffany was short, dismissive, and frankly rude. We had only ordered waters at first because two of us were debating whether to have a drink. When she came back to ask about food, I tried to politely respond with “yes please, thank you,” but before I could even finish, she cut me off with an abrupt “okay” and walked away to the lounge side.

At that point, we decided to leave because I don’t believe customers should be treated that way when trying to support a business. Afterward, I looked at other reviews and noticed similar complaints about a server with a bad attitude — I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same person.

Management really needs to address this, because poor service like that reflects badly on the...

We were seated quickly however, although there were several servers working, they just looked at us and would not acknowledge us at all. We were sitting for just over 15 minutes before anyone came over. We noticed that there seemed to be no set section for the servers and we both thought that this contributed to the definite lack of care. We saw many diners having to flag down staff for refills, napkins, etc. I ordered the Memphis chicken sandwich with mayo instead of ranch. It was not good! The chicken was dry and it was definitely not spicy at all. The onion rings were good though. My husband ordered the Big Philly Cheesesteak Dipper. He never complains about restaurant meals but, he really didn't enjoy his meal either. Very little meat or cheese and he said that it had a strange after taste. We didn't complain because it was probably a matter of our own preference but, this was the second time that we have frequented this specific BP. We will...

The 'meal' I had here tonight was easily the worst food I have tasted in quite a long time.

The bread appetizer was like cardboard and was only saved by the ranch dip actually being good.

The taste of the pizza was non-existent and it was covered in so much oil that my lips and fingers still feel of it despite trying to wash it away for a good while, I could barely finish one piece before eventually sending it back and decided to not get anything else.

The servers here are absolutely miserable and look like they haven't smiled in months, one of them especially was miserable looking tonight and kept glaring at me and my friend while we were talking. You'd get better service from robots.

Overall this place is an embarrassment and you should go literally anywhere else in Blackfalds. The only good things I had tonight were the two glasses of Pepsi and the ranch dip with the appetizer,...
