A&W Canada — Restaurant in Blackfalds

Tried going through the drive through around 12:30pm yesterday. Waited for about 5 minutes for the truck at the window to get served so that I could reach the intercom to place my order. I finally get to the intercom and wait for about a minute with no one saying anything so I finally said hello, waited for an answer nothing, I say hello again is anyone there, wait still no answer. I probably waited about 2-3 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me with nothing, the lineup behind was growing so I drove up to the window to see what was going on,. The lady at the window opened the window and I asked if they were having problems with the intercom because no one is answering me, instead of answering she tell me one minute sand then proceeds to talk on the intercom to the guy who was behind me and ignored me, I waited for her to come back to the window for a bit and I finally got fed up said thanks for nothing I will go to red deer. Saw dairy queen on my drive back to red deer and stopped there. Got fast quick service right away. Thanks dairy queen, A&w could learn...

Come here every now and then for lunch, as I work in the industrial area in Blackfalds. Today, November 20th at about 13:00. Ordered two chicken buddy burgers, and chicken strips.

Each time, without fail, I am asked to park just outside the drive thru, even if I'm the only customer. Then, I'm sat there for 10-15 minutes, half my lunch break, waiting for the food to be brought out.

As well, it seems every single time I come here, they're missing food from my order. Typically a burger. In this case today, I luckily got both my burgers, or so I thought, when I was given one of my burgers without any meat on it. I don't know how you mess up and give a burger without meat on it. You have to make and close the burger, do you not pay attention to what you're doing? Not to mention thats most of the weight?

Anyways, I won't be returning to this establishment. Very slow, and always something messed up. Time and money best spent...

This place consistently forgets dipping sauces, forks, knapkins, and ketchup. Don't bother going through the drive thru because you'll be parked and have to wait. Might as well just go inside, better yet go to a different restaurant because this place doesn't care about its customers. I once argued with the drive thru lady on whether or not she put ketchup in the bag (she didn't) and I only got her to comply after an argument. Won't be returning here if I have any say about it. This morning before work I gave it another chance to grab some breakfast before work. The grease hauling truck made the drive thru out of service and was told to go inside by one of the workers. After parking my flatdeck truck in their parkinglot and going inside I was told they weren't able to make any food for the next 5 to 10 minutes. Don't they schedule this before they get busy? Ridiculously...
