Buster's Pizza & Donair — Restaurant in Blackfalds

We ordered some pizzas and garlic bread last week, which came to us smelling very strongly of mold. We didn’t see mold, just smelled it, very strongly. Called to let the store know and the manger at first tried to tell me i was wrong and then offered me replacement pizzas (not the garlic bread just pizza) we told her we would use that at a later date as we weren’t overly hungry after attempting to eat pizza that smelled moldy. She agreed. Fast forward to today, when we tried to use that credit, we are told the prices went up and we will have to pay an extra $5 for the replacement pizzas….

Yes five bucks is not much for two pizzas but that’s not the point . The point is they sold us moldy smelling pizza and garlic bread, only would replace the pizzas and then tired to tell us that we still have to pay an additional $5 because their price went up.

Business Trip to Blackfalds. Ate there 4 times in 2 weeks. Beef Donair very good. One thing to mention, that same product is always different, sometimes more meat, sometimes more lettuce, sometimes wrapped properly, sometimes just folded, seems to depend on mood.

BUT… First 2 times as I paid, i was asked for a Tipp and thought to ask for a Tipp for an over- counter product is quite something, but still gave a Dollar for a 12 Dollar order. The next 2 times, and I really thought i did something wrong the first time, the Tipp was just added without even asking. 2.76 Dollar for a 12 Dollar Order for an over-counter product! For what is the Tipp? For making it? Isn’t that part of the orders price? I would have gone there 2 or more times throughout my trip just because it tasted that good, but adding a Tipp automatically without any extra service as in a dine-in restaurant, thats...

I look forward to coming to this location every time I'm in town. The service is incredible, the staff are amazing AndThe only reason I gave a four-star rating is because every time I go in I end up having conversation with other customers about the gnarly glare inside while eating my food from the Sun which really is not fun. Aunt, honestly it would be nice if the franchise owner of this location would please do something about it. I'm not the only one who complains about this being the case and it would be super easy fix by just getting one of those sun shading decals. They could even get one of the logo to put on the window.
