I gave 5 star for pizza and 3 star for service. I am a person who will not return when somewhere in the line was made felt as inconvenience and that is what happened on the Saturday night; i am sure the phone was ringing for many orders and that kept the team busy, however when i called I was new to the ordering pizza world, i was responded to in a rush and with irritation; i had questions about toppings and how it worked and was answered with irritable questions back and abruptly. Since my friends surprised me in my birthday I decided to order to treat them and all the kids i went ahead and continued. My initial order eventually was 2 for 1 pizza take out. When i came to pick up my friends decided that we may like to stay in and eat and i wanted to order one more pizza- i was told that i would no longer get the 2 for 1 discount chosing to dine in- we chose to just take the deal and go eat else where. I did order another pizza, unfortunately no where the girl who was taking the order mentioned or offered another 2for1 pizza again. My problem with this is that this was the second poorly served choice for a customer: the response/ intentions and the service it self. I am not sure if kindness not included in the atmosphere and nor should I be expecting it, but we all have heavy jobs and would be a better place to be treated the way you wish to be treated. I still added a tip knowing the other team maybe paying for this type of team players. I gave a 3 star overall because the girl eventually lightened up after me apologizing for being indecisive and unaware of the pizza world (I didn’t need to do that) and later when I picked up the third pizza she had offered lollipops for all the kids with a better body language. The conclusion is: if you choose to work in service please think about your attitude; if you had a bad day please reflect how you can grow or respond after realizing you were in fact internally rude (shoulders go down and goes along way for all of us) I chose not to worry about it anymore- but wanted to share this for your own reflection. I had reflected for my own experience in this, and take few points away for future ordering to make other phone calls a little more peaceful. Read moreUPDATE : we decided to give Piccolos another try. We went in there Thursday evening and had a fantastic experience. The server was fantastic. We had the best service we’ve had in a long time at a restaurant. She seemed to know exactly everything we needed without having to ask and did her job very well. The atmosphere seemed completely different than the last time we were here. Upbeat and like a great work environment restrooms were very clean and the restaurant was clean and organized And lastly, the food dinner appetizers and drinks were all fantastic presentation of the The food was like night and day from the last time we were in we definitely will be returning. Been there a couple times in the last few weeks and the service was horrid The server seemed very unfriendly, no smile, no upbeat, friendly attitude, no refills server got our order wrong even though we repeated it multiple times and she she wrote it down had to come back a to ask us for different things like the side dish and to clarify. The second time is basically the same , Didn’t bother to let her know to let her know that both of our orders were wrong as when we did the first time when our orders were messed up, all she said was oh well I wrote it down that’s where you ordered . We just wont be returning sad to see as this was one of our go to places I don’t know where all the other gals that used to serve are . Read moreAbsolutely HORRID. I made a reservation for my mother’s birthday so when we arrived the tables would be put together as I knew the layout of the dine in area. We arrived on time for our reservation. We were the only customers inside. From the moment we walked in, the female staff had an attitude that told us we were inconveniencing her. She took our drink orders then went to the back where she and who we assume is the male cook began making fun of us for making a reservation, and talking poorly about us in general. They both spoke loudly, almost to make sure we heard. After 15 minutes of no beverages, not even water (as well as the staff disappearing), my father asked if we would be getting our drinks any time soon as we had been already waiting 15 minutes! The guy played dumb and the female said the guy was going to make our drinks, while saying we had only been waiting 5 minutes. At that point we grabbed our belongings and left. But it’s okay that we had absolutely horrific service here, because we ended up going to Boston Pizza where we received exceptional service as well as delicious meals that Piccalos couldn’t even come close to.
