So I went to five guys to pick up an Uber order for a client. The burger was ready and I asked the girl who was working if I can have the order. The fries were ready and the burgers for the clients inside were not. And she replied I gotta serve the clients inside first. And I tell her the order I'm picking up is for a client it's not a machine ordering. And she gave me attitude and I reply to her telling her every uber driver, doordash and skip the dishes driver is a potential client and she didn't care. When she handed me tho order I told her you just lost a client and she replies who cares there's plenty more. All in all five guys really doesn't care about their clientele or potential clients. And uber clients are insignificant considering the fact they pay more for the food. Even if it was the last burger joint on the planet I would never step a foot in five guys. They want your money but when it comes to customer service they don't care because there is no way this employee would take it upon herself to reply that unless it was told to her by the owner of that specific location. Now Is this coming from the franchis? Or does every franchisee do...
Read moreWent there with two friends a couple of days ago and it was not a pleasant experience when it came to the service.
The guy on the register was super friendly and helpful; however, when we ordered the cheeseburger with bacon, the girl that was running the grill (Sarah) was super rude to him and to us. She yelled and told that she was not going to fire bacon for our order although we insisted that we were willing to wait (where she yelled again at him saying no). After ordering, we saw Uber and Skip drivers walking in to pick up orders with bacon. When we approached her to see why she wasn't willing to serve us (in-store customers) her responses were condescending and rude. We asked her if we would have gotten all the ingredients we wanted if we ordered online and she said yes.
I understand that with COVID there is a rush in restaurants and people are under extreme pressure, but having worked in customer service for a couple of years I know that being rude to customers is a big red flag.
That said, the food was good but I will not visit that location again...
Read moreFood is good and service is good as well. The problem is the way five guys restaurants are built with limited seating so you very often have to stand around and wait for people to leave or you just have to leave and eat elsewhere. Unfortunately the way the burgers are made makes it pretty messy most times to eat this in a vehicle. There should be more seating for people that are alone or for two people in order to leave more large tables for families as often a single person or 2 people take up most of the 4 seat tables but the space available for seating is pretty limited with the size of most five guys restaurants. That is the only issue I can think about as the rest is just fine. Oh almost forgot even if it sounds a little stupid this place is bright enough to use biodegradable plastic straws instead of the crappy soggy paper straws so hats off to them for something that seems insignificant but most people have had enough of...
