La Cage — Restaurant in Boucherville

The service was smiley and just overall very pleasant, but l put 1 star for the god awful food and alright atmosphere.

Let's start with the smaller offense.

The atmosphere was fantastic, sporty, cozy, just as you'd expect. But there were two huge tables just... littered with popcorn. Nobody cleaned them in the 1 hour-2 hours we were there. There was popcorn EVERYWHERE on the floor. Even in the entrance as we were heading to leave! How'd it get in the entrance!

And now, presenting the ugly part.

The popcorn was okay, but you could just tell that it only tasted that way smothered in fats, oils and salt. I ordered a blitz burger and it was horrendously small AND disgusting compared to all the other restaurants I've ever went to. The patty was undercooked and didn't taste like actual meat. The Caesar salad was frankly, a pathetic excuse for a bowl of lettuce with a little sauce and some weird dry crunchy croutons. The fries were strangely soggy and lacked any crisp or crunch to them.... I don't know how fries can messed up that badly. On the flipside, the only good food that you can get aside from water is sweet potato fries.... Which are a "replacement" for the fries with a burger that costs an additional 5.50. Also, we had to send it back the first time because it was completely cold! After they came back though? Ohhhh they tasted crispy and soft and tender, absolutely perfect. But alas, it's a shame my family paid over ~120$ for something you could've made so much better at home. My mother didn't even finish her burger because it was that disgusting and barely touched the fries, rightfully so. In conclusion, La Cage is unfortunately just as bad as McDonalds in terms of food quality and advertising. Creating a constant flow of contests and heavy advertising doesn't make your food...

We booked a table for 7 and we were never told we had a limit time to stay. Our first waitress was amazing, she served the food fast, she was polite, attentive. She finished her shift, we paid for our food and drinks and we rested there for a while.

We ordered more drinks to the waiter who took over. The drinks never came, the waiter forgot our drinks and after 15 min, he just ame back telling us that we had 15 min to drink because the table was booked for someone else.

The waiter who took over gave us a horrible service that we left immediately.

Well, let me tell you something! 4th time in this restaurant and 4th time I would give them a 5 star review! You shouldn't come here for food or drinks only! Just relax! Karol was, simply, amazing!! I moved from her table to someone else's table but, when she saw the waitress on this side was overwhelmed, she just took over my table and served me as it was hers! But, not only that! For the first moment I came in, I saw someone just moving all arround, MAUDE, is her name! SIMPLY, AMAZING! 3 HOURS I WAS JUST STARED AT HER!!! I understand she is a supervisor here, still, doing everything from cleaning to billing....never seen that in a restaurant! Good for yoy Maude! Looking forward...
