Kewi is now closed, this is the last independent spot to get breakfast in our neighborhood.

The restaurant has painted/cleaned up a bit and seems to have invested more in their breakfast menu and staff, since I'm assuming their clientele has increased a lot due to Kewi closing.

We love our regular waitress, she's great, and the food is good, it's solid, standard breakfast.

It's just the atmosphere that sucks. It's a bar afterall. It's dark and they don't always open the shades on the windows. Sometimes you're eating your eggs and there's folks drinking beer and playing slot machines at 9:30 am.

You also can't bring kids/teens since it's a bar. But, that works for me, lol.

2021 The place seems to have changed hands. It’s mainly a bar so the inside is very dark. If you sit by a window it’s nicer. They do breakfast, and a lunch menu. We’ve lost a lot of local breakfast places, this is one of the only two left (with Kewi)....

Wonderful, helpful, delightful staff. Family owned business. Stopped in on a Wednesday for dinner, but the kitchen was closed. Steph helped us order a delicious takeout from close by, so we could get it and bring it back to eat dinner and have our beer.
