Asian Hakka Chinese & Indian Restaurant - OPEN FOR DINE-IN ! — Restaurant in Brampton

One of the best Hakka restaurants out there without a doubt. They provide copious amounts of flavourful food, all within a reasonable price range. Their chicken fried rice was by far some of the best, if not the best fried rice I've ever tasted. Definitely give that a try! Service was excellent as the food took no longer than 15-20 mins to be made so definitely order ahead of time if you want to avoid waiting. If you're unfamiliar with the menu as we were during our first time there, the kind staff at the front (or over the phone) are happy to provide recommendations, answer questions, and help you choose what may be right for you. Note that there is no option to dine in, only take out.

A truly Hakka Chinese place that offers quality and quantity food for a reasonable price. I am a regular customer here because the food brings me back everytime. Have not tried a ton of things but my usual is veg Hakka noodles or egg Hakka noodles and the quantity is great!! Two adults can easily satisfy their hunger in one serving of the noodles. Other items tried and good are - Chilli chicken Dry, chilli Paneer dry, veg Manchurian balls in gravy ( which is really soft ) which is served with some steamed/boiled white rice, chilli mushrooms dry, steamed chicken Momo's, friend veg/chicken Momo's in schezuan sauce which are spicy but great and manchow soup. Their veg fried rice is OK but I felt rice undercooked when ordered once.

Staff is limited to one person at the counter and then cooking staff in kitchen. Staff is courteous and polite. Their seating is not open in restaurant so its a take-away order always.

Do tell them to make things less spicy or non spicy if ordering for your toddler children who don't eat spicy food.

If I compare them to restaurants blike - Dalchini, Hakkalicious and Indolicious for Hakka Chinese food- Qty wise its more than those Hakkalicious or Indolicious outlets but similar to minor less than Dalchini. Taste wise its an minor edge better than all of them.

Their Indian food I haven't tried and not sure what all is available so no comments on that.

I'm new to the area and decided to try this place after checking some reviews. Firstly, they wouldn't pick up the phone. After the 4th time, I decided to drive there and order in person.

There was nobody at the cash when I got there but a girl came out momentarily and proceeded to take my order. She had no idea of the menu and kept punching in the wrong items. I ordered 5 items and it took 5 tries to get it right. She said it was going to be 30minutes (which is longer than usual hakka takeouts). Since I live 15mins away it didn't make sense to drive home and come back again. After 35mins waiting in the car I proceeded to go back and get my food. The girl said it was going to be 10 more minutes and dissappead back into the kitchen! And I waited another 20mins for the food to come out in a torn bag!!

I wish I could say the food was excellent and this made the bad service and wait worthwhile. But alas, it wasnt. They overdid the ginger and spice levels were all off. The soup was just meh, and beef was bland.

I've had a lot of hakka in my life from various restaurants and cities, and this has to be one of the worst experiences ever. I was truly disappointed and suffice to say I will not be returning to this place ever. It's a miracle how they have managed to stay in business.
