Fionn MacCool's — Restaurant in Brampton

READ IN FULL. I’m really not one to give restaurants bad ratings but I was really disappointed coming back here. Had my first visit a couple weeks ago with my boyfriend. We both loved the food and service but the amazing drinks was the reason we came back. Came back last night to look forward to the same experience we got the first time. Very disappointed to come back to very water down drinks. Ordered a round of cocktails (a jug of sangria and a mule) and it was so watered down to the point that we could not taste the alcohol. So we thought maybe they made the drinks wrong and decided to just maybe try different things on the menu. Ordered a cosmo and one of their house cocktails. At that point it was confirmed that they did not put at least the right amount of ounces, so we addressed it with the server. She doubled down on the drinks having the right amount by telling us how many ounces come in a single or double serving... which we were explaining was not reflected in the drinks we’ve ordered there before this time around. I’ve been bartending myself for 3 years which is what prompted me to be sure of the under portioning of alcohol, in the same respect I did not want to cause further injury by taking it to the manager once she mishandled the situation. Instead of recognizing this as a slight to us as customers, apologizing and offering either a re-made drink or a refund she simply walked away after this unjustified excuse. Will not...

I had a horrible experience. We made a reservation a few days ago. Came in before our reservation. They did not have a hostess to greet/seat us for over 10 minutes. A couple walked out because no one was there. They were not extremely busy, three groups and a few couples by the bar. Waitresses/bartenders saw us and did not say/do anything, just continued to serve. This young lady that was about to leave the bar told the bartender that we have been waiting for a very long time. The bartender came over, grabbed some of their menus and sat us. When the rest our party came, the waitress asked what we would like to drink, at that point we asked for their east coast special menu and was only given one to pass around. The waitress did not come back. Eventually, another waitress came, got our drinks, took our order, brought condiments, brought our order, did not check on us thoughout our meal, cleaned our table, brought a dessert menu and never came back. We could have walked out without paying and no one would have noticed. Eventually, we had to find our waitress and tell her we wanted our bills to pay. I unfortunately tipped her even though I don't believe she deserved it. And to top it off, I had food poisoning. I have been sick since I left yesterday and have taken work off because if this. I have had such a horrible experience and I will without doubt not be coming back here again and will not bring any...

I've been to this location before (Trinity Commons) and had a great experience. I was meeting the same friend for dinner and we thought we'd go to the same place as the last time. The food itself was fine. I had the chicken Caesar salad and she had the chicken tenders. But the service was ridiculous. There were more waitresses in the place than there were patrons. But none of them seemed to actually be doing anything. Our waitress was prompt at first - took our drink order, and our food order and brought the food out in a timely manner. then she came back to take our desert order. We ordered beverages and she brought those and then disappeared. We finished our coffee and tea and she did not come back to ask if we wanted anything else or more coffee, etc. after 15 minutes of waiting we asked another waitress to try to find her. She left to go in the back and came back out shrugging her shoulders. After another 15 minutes I went to the front and asked them to locate her again as we really needed to leave. She finally came out of the back and brought us the bill. She was slightly rude as if we had the audacity to have someone look for her and we have no plans to return to this location again in the future. If service means nothing to you, then you will be fine with Fionn MacCools. As I said the food itself was fine, but the service leaves something...
