I have been a regular customer with Good Tiffin for over three months. The food was delicious in the beginning but the quality deteriorated after a few weeks. I kept giving them detailed feedback on messages and certainly gave them the benefit of the doubt each time when they provided reasons. A couple of the issues I brought up with them are: paneer was in a watery gravy (like ketchup mixed with water), once pakoras were undercooked, once the food felt like it was a store-bought ready to eat packet, once the item was stale. Over all of these feedbacks to them, I accepted all their reasons considering they must be a small business that’s trying hard to make this better.
However, now they have completely changed their website and have increased their prices by around 30$ justifying it with packaging costs due to inflation and with no intention of improving quality of the actual food. And I also have not seen a drastic improvement in quality that would justify someone paying that amount. So I’m quite baffled by their brazen attitude for doing this. Since I’m a working professional, i may have to continue with them for a while before I decide another option. But I wanted customers to know this before they sign up for Good Tiffin so they can make a call after having all the facts because it’s your hard earned money.
PS: I’m more than happy to update the review if the quality of food improves! And I’m truly hoping it does! ———————————- Update - I wanted to be honest and come back to update. Their increased costs had not improved the food quality so I stopped ordering from Good Tiffin. Hope it helps anyone reading the reviews to...
Read moreAfter trying 4 different tiffin service providers, I tried Good tiffin and its the best tiffin service I have ever received. *Taste is great along with portion size. Communication is perfect( I get regular text messages on the ETA of my tiffin) So many options- I can choose 2 options out of three on daily basis. Will never get bored of the food anymore. *Restaurant style menu. Menu includes pranthas, puri allu, besan chilla, pasta, chilly paneer, rajma chawal etc. etc.
As compared to regular tiffin services, its price is almost double but the quality level is on par with restaurants and the cooking style is homemade. So, we can eat different restaurant style dishes...
