Horrible service. Went to the drive thru for a late night snack, August 17 around 1am and asked for a classic poutine and asked for ranch to be added to it. The staff said that they cannot add any "garnish" to the poutine. I told them I was willing to pay for the ranch but if they could simply add the sauce to the poutine, as I have requested at multiple other Harvey's locations and have not had an issue. The staff agreed and told me to drive thru. Once at the window, they cashier presented me with the machine to pay and as soon as the transaction was approved, she went back to, "I cannot add the ranch to the poutine" and offered to give it on the side. Obviously confused by this, especially since she clearly on purpose did not say anything prior to me paying, asked if she was going to take the ranch bottle and squeeze the sauce into the container and if so, why she couldn't simply put it on the poutine. She continued to be adamant that she just can't because they don't "garnish" the poutine, which is something they apparently do at all other locations. Read moreMy sister and I were dining in at the cottrelle location. Although It was busy A young guy name Scott was very friendly and had exceptional customer service skills. We can tell that he was new but he was very enthusiastic. We noticed that the other young girl with the glasses was not communicating with him well and was getting upset with him. There was a milkshake order and she forgot to get rid of the ticket and he made it again, we noticed she was being a little rude and blamed him, although it was her fault she didn’t get rid of old order tickets so there was no confusion. She was rolling her eyes when he was doing something incorrect. Instead of guiding him and helping this nice kid she was treating him like a nuisance which I did not like. I worked in customer service for a long time so when I see things like this I feel bad for the trainee. You need to hire more young people like this, as they make our experience dining in and ordering a good one, and not feeling like we’re being rushed away by the other workers. I wish I could give this Harvey's location 0 Stars. The customer service is non existing and the Management here does not have to the ability to comprehend there is a problem at hand forget about finding a solution.
Th Management team does not care for the the customers no matter what the problem is at hand.
This location has to be hands down one of the worst locations in the GTA.
I ordered a simple regularl size poutine and asked for extra gravy on the side. I payed the extra charge for the gravy and when I got my poutine I asked, " where's my extra gravy?". The employees reply, "we put extra gravy on the top already."
After letting that go I pulled out of the drive through and headed home. I opened the box and to my surprise I got less than half a box of fries and cheese curds. I payed full price plus extra fir gravy and got no extra gravy and less than half the box of poutine.
I won't be back here again and others would be wise to stay away from this...
