Jerk & Tings Restaurant and Catering — Restaurant in Brampton

Tried this Place for the 1st Time Today and was Not Disappointed at all. Ordered the Jerk Chicken Meal with a Side of Rice and Peas along with their Orange Champagne Drink. Was sooo Good I went back to Order again. Ordered a Large Oxtail Meal with their Pineapple Soft Drink. That was also really Yummy. Portion Sizes are Huge, one of the only Restaurants left that Feeds their Customers well for their Money. The Black Woman who Worked here Today around Lunchtime is Very Sweet, Funny, Caring, and Attentive. She assured Me I would like everything and I did. She was Very Talkative and Outgoing, I could have talked to Her for Hours if I wanted to. Superior Customer Service. The Lady who Served Me Today deserves a Raise. She is doing an Excellent Job and She is Feeding Her Customers well. Other Customers like Her as well. She is a Fan Favorite at This Location. I would give Her a Raise if I could.

Went here for lunch takeout and it was very tasty. I had jerk pork rice and peas and oxtail gravy with some coleslaw It was smelling so good in the car. I started eating before I got home. So sadly I don't have any pictures of the food itself that was served. Photos of the actual jerk pork served that is on their website is accurate to what I got. There was just enough gravy and the meat tasted good. It's not like some restaurants. They cook the chicken and then they add the jerk spice on top. This is cooked with in the jerk seasoning. I ask for some country pepper on top. And the the counter person put just the right amount. It was for me. I like pepper and it was exactly what we needed. I don't like Pepper that is so much it...

Ordered from skip the dishes last night from the Brampton location the jerk pork was overly salty. We ordered white rice with oxtail gravy and jerk chicken with steamed vegetables, what we got was dry rice and peas jerk chicken and a plain over cooked macaroni salad. When we called the lady who answered knew right away they screwed up our order when I told her we just had it delivered through skip she was like the rice and peas then gave me some bull story that they ran out of white rice. I wished they canceled the order on their end if they didn't have what the customer ordered. Instead she sounded like she could care less.
