Brampton's Best Indian Street Food Restaurants! !
Dabeli: This junction fast food restaurant serves the best dabeli I've ever had. The buns are fresh and soft, and the filling is perfectly spiced and flavorful. It's the perfect snack for when you're on the go.
Vadapav: The vadapav here is amazing! The vada is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the pav is warm and fluffy. It's the perfect comfort food on a chilly day.
Junction Special Sandwich: The junction special sandwich is a must-try. It's loaded with vegetables, chutney, and cheese, and the bread is toasted to perfection. It's a hearty and delicious sandwich that will leave you feeling satisfied.
Kachori Chat: This restaurant's kachori chat is a flavor explosion in your mouth. The kachoris are crispy and filled with a spiced lentil mixture, and the toppings of chutney, onions, and sev take it to the next level. It's a perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors.
Aloo Tikki Chat: The aloo tikki chat is one of my favorite items on the menu. The aloo tikkis are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and they're topped with a variety of chutneys, yogurt, and sev. It's a perfect balance of flavors and textures.
The panipuri at Junction restaurant is a true masterpiece. The crispy puris, the tangy filling, and the sweet and spicy chutneys all come together to create a symphony of flavors in your mouth. I highly recommend this dish to anyone who loves Indian street food or just wants to try something new and delicious.
I recently tried the loaded puff at Junction restaurant, and I have to say it was one of the best things I've ever tasted. The puff pastry was perfectly crispy and flaky, and the filling was a delicious mixture of veggies and spices. The melted cheese on top just took it to another level of deliciousness. Highly recommended!
Overall, this Junction fast food restaurant is a great spot for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian street food. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is always friendly and efficient. Whether you're in the mood for a snack or a full meal, this restaurant is definitely...
Read moreThe restaurant is very nicely done up and the staff are warm and welcoming. The gentleman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and informative about the variety of items on the menu.
I tried the falooda and the junction special sandwich.
First thing you should know is: unless you have a big appetite, do not order these items together!
My impression from the menu picture is that the faluda was like a bubble tea. It is not - although it looks like a Starbucks drink, it's more like a milkshake. Although it is light tasting and does not weigh on your stomach, it is a very substantial drink and could qualify as a complete snack in itself. It got even better when the noodles started to freeze, which gave the drink an extra interesting experience.
I think the sugarcane juice would have been a better choice to go with food.
The sandwich was another surprise. The menu item looks like a basic Panini sandwich. The reality is far more substantial and a lot more intriguing in appearance. It came in a silver takeaway container which is good because I absolutely couldn't finish it. The top is sprinkled with lavish amounts of shredded cheese and, again, noodles and a garnishing of coriander.
It is a two layer sandwich with potato mix on the bottom layer and vegetables on the top. I saw cucumbers beets green peppers tomato and who knows what all else in there. Basically, it is a superfood super pack!
Instead of mayo mustard etc, they use an in-house chutney which gives it a really nice spicy kick.
The flavor is very unusual. I've never eaten anything like this before. I was not sure I liked it at first, but after a few more bites I realized it really was very tasty. It also has no bad aftertaste.
I wish I had the room to eat more than one piece of it but I'm definitely saving the...

First visit in July 2022: Found this little gem recently and love the food here! Options are plenty and quite delicious. Tried dabeli, vada pav, dahi puri, pani puri and loaded puff so far and all items were tasty. Best part, it's good on your wallet, too. In comparison to the restaurants in the area or even in the GTA, their prices are quite nominal. The restaurant is clean and has a good ambience. Friendly staff who provided good recommendations as well!
Highly recommended!
Update after a recent visit end of Sept 2022: This was our 5th or 6th time visiting this spot. Sadly, we found a noticeable decline in the quality of the food. Ordered dahi puri, vada pav, dabeli and chai. The dahi puri was missing something for sure, it seemed skimpy on the dahi. The goodness of this dish comes from how well it can soak up the dahi and other flavours and every Puri in your mouth should be a burst of flavours. We did not experience that this time. The other disappointing dish was the vada pav. It honestly looked like someone sucked the life out of the pav and gave us something that didn't look like one. While it tasted good, it certainly did not look appetizing. Given the no. of times we've ordered and enjoyed these dishes, this experience wasn't all that satisfying. Consistency in quality was their USP. But that wasn't the experience this time.
All that said, will surely give them another chance or two before bidding goodbye. Although, I hope it doesn't come to that. They're one of my all-time favourite spots for street food here. And I still...
