Lunchbox Cafe and Catering by Regina — Restaurant in Brampton

The company was recommended by a family member. So naturally when I was looking for a place to cater a meeting in the office, I ordered from them. I ordered for food ahead of time. They specifically asked me for a time when I wanted the food ordered. I initially said sometime around noon. A day before the event, I called in to pay for the catering as per our email conversation. They they said food should arrive by 11:30AM.

The following day, by 11:20AM I called in to check what time their delivery person would arrive so I can assist. I was told I would receive a call back. I NEVER DID so I called them back after 10 minutes. I was then informed that the delivery person left their premises around 11:05AM and should arrive anytime soon. The kicker is, THE DELIVERY PERSON DIDN'T HAVE A PHONE WITH HER. I was panicking because it's now 11:45 and I still don't have food to serve to my guests and there's no way to track the delivery person.

The delivery person finally arrived at 12:10PM. 40 minutes after their promised time. When she arrived instead of apologizing, she just said she couldn't figure out where our building was. I've never experienced this kind of inconvenience with any other caterers before. The food is okay as per guests but moving forward, I would stay away from...

This place is one of the hidden gems in Brampton! Location wise it’s in an older mall, but has an outside entrance as well. It has been recently renovated and the care and thought that went into this renovation is very impressive. My brother had an intimate reception there for his wedding last weekend, and OMG 😱 I mean this is the best way possible, the decor was lovely, the atmosphere most welcoming and the food!! Ok- let’s talk about the catering and food they did! Really nice salad, pasta, chicken and the steak was very tender and flavourful- better than most steak houses. The noodles they serve are very authentic and tasty. The staff are very fast and kind and the service was amazing. I really enjoyed the variety of food, and the flavour. I have ordered at least 3x in the last couple of weeks from this place using UberEats vouchers from work. This restaurant just cancels without even bothering to call you. You just keep waiting on the status and discover that they cancelled the order. Of course they refund the value of your voucher, but with less the Uber fees. I shd have learned the first time they bungled up my order..and should not even have tried the second and third time as clearly they dont value their clients that much. I wish there is a ‘block the vendor’ feature in ordering apps so I dont order from them ever again. What a disappointment!
