If you're looking for delicious Guyanese food in Brampton, Mystic Restaurant is a great option with its flavorful dishes. However, my experience here was a mixture of enjoyable flavours and discomfort.

Firstly, let's talk about the positives. The chicken fried rice is absolutely delicious. It's cooked to perfection and not too oily. You can pair it with their hot and spicy chicken wings, which have a fantastic seasoning blend of pepper and garlic.

However, my enjoyment was somewhat diminished by the choice of the waitress uniform. The waitresses wear a short black dress with a mesh hem, which unfortunately misses the mark. Although the aesthetic might aim for chic, the execution falls short. The mesh doesn't provide sufficient coverage, exposing the waitresses, particularly when reaching or bending over. This lack of modesty feels out of place, particularly during early evening dining hours.

Beyond causing discomfort, this choice jeopardizes the safety and dignity of the waitstaff. Restaurant owners must prioritize the well-being of their employees, and the current uniform choice neglects this responsibility. Although such attire might suit late-night events, it should only be worn with full consent and appropriate precautions.

Went here for a family second birthday last week during the day. The daytime vibe is completely more inviting than the evening time vibe. The whole section was rented out to our family and friends for this birthday. Everything was good. The music was good. There was enough seating for everybody. The service at the bar was really quick and friendly and the food was delicious as well.

The only downfall is the food trays were empty and they didn’t refill it as fast and the rice that me and my partner got was hard and stale. The pepper shrimp was good and spicy and the chow mein and chicken was just OK..

Overall, we had a good time here with family. We ended up coming back in the evening for the nighttime event… But the bouncers/security were extremely rude. They need to fix up. I would never come here in the evening again, the bartenders were soo slow but if there was another family event during the day, I would show up for that and...

Came here on Saturday for an event, they raised their bottle prices by a crazy amount. A patron bottle is now 370 cash and if you wanted to pay by card the cost went up to 470.. $100 just on tax not to mention the ATM was not working. The bottle girl had a bad attitude and thought justifying the bottle cost by comparing it to a downtown club.. mystic is no where near a downtown club their booths are plastic boxes that move because of the base in the club and half your drinks end up on the floor. My group asked for a VIP booth and they last minute switched the rule to a minimum 5 bottle rule instead of 3 and in the middle of the event a group who bought ONE bottle was in the VIP.
