Bad overall experience, it's uncomfortable, cramped space, low quality tables literally squeezed everywhere they can be pushed without considering holistic customer experience in mind - also honestly owner went too low to set prices ridiculously high even for an extra sauce $3.99+tax, soft drink 3.99+tax, even high end places don't charge this much. update: I'd like to respectfully respond to owner's reply lies:- ----Owner response (in case he deletes) - Thanks for the feedback and appreciation for services. Our sauces are made fresh in-house and not store bought sachets and soft drink pricing reflects current supplier increases and cost of doing business. With today’s economy and fair wage rates, our pricing supports quality ingredients and proper staffing. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have you back. -----Customer response:- Thank you again for the response, but let's address the facts head-on—your pricing isn't justified by "fresh in-house" sauces or "supplier increases." A standard extra sauce portion (2-4 oz) at Indian restaurants across the GTA and Canada is $1-2 max-never approaching $4. Even "high-end" spots like those in Toronto's Michelin-guide don't charge this for sides. If your sauces are truly premium, why not include a complimentary taste with mains like every other parantha spot? Charging nearly the cost of a full dish ($18+ curries) for a dab is pure opportunism, not quality. On soft drinks: Canned sodas wholesale at ~$0.30-0.50/can in bulk. Industry markup is high (~300-500%, cost 10-15%), but standard restaurant price is $2.50-3.00-not $3.99. Your sister location in Niagara Falls charges $4 for pop/water, and reviews call it "pricey." Coke/Pepsi haven't hiked supplier prices enough to justify a 700-1,000% markup-that's on you. "Economy and fair wages"? Spare us. Brampton families are pinching pennies amid real inflation-$8+ tax for sauce + drink turns a $20 meal into $30+. If staffing is the issue, don't nickel-and-dime customers; raise mains or cut corners elsewhere. We loved the paranthas, but this greed killed the vibe. Brampton deserves better-vote with your wallet. Who's paid $4 for sauce here? Share below! #BramptonEats #Overpriced #ParantheWaliGali ----Update: 3Nov - owner is gaslighting instead of acknowledging . Thanks for the polite reply, but let's cut through the spin—your "clarifications" don't hold up, and they feel like a way to make customers doubt valid gripes. First, yes, a tiny complimentary sauce comes with each parantha, but it's barely a tablespoon-hardly enough for the meal, forcing extras at $3.99 a pop. That's not "optional"; it's designed to upsell. Fresh in-house? Great, but competitors like other GTA Indian spots charge $1-2 for similar extras without skimping on quality. Your price is double the norm, not "fair" in this economy. Soft drinks at $3.99? National restaurant averages hover around $2.50-3.00 for a can, per reliable data. "City variances" don't explain marking up a $0.50 wholesale item by 800%. And Niagara location? Same $3.99 for water and pop-consistent gouging, not local costs. We get rising wages, but don't gaslight by implying we're unreasonable for expecting value. Reviews echo this: greasy food, tiny portions, and "scam" vibes from others feeling ripped off. If you truly value feedback, drop the excuses and lower extras—Brampton won't keep lining up for this. Fellow foodies: Experienced similar? Paranthe Wali Gali in Brampton is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Indian dining experience. The restaurant is located in a vibrant and bustling area, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is simple and elegant, with an emphasis on traditional Indian elements that create a cozy and comfortable vibe. The server named “ Jashan” served us was really good at serving and he was very gentle . First I ordered Aloo parantha then he suggested me to have Aaloo eith pyaaz paratha and it was yum. The menu is extensive and offers a range of dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. Their paranthe are particularly noteworthy, with a variety of fillings including paneer, aloo and what not. Each paratha is cooked to perfection and served hot, with a crispy exterior and soft interior that just melts in your mouth. The other dishes are equally delicious, with options ranging from classic curries to more modern fusion dishes. The chicken tikka masala, for example, is a standout dish that is packed with flavor and spices. And, if you have a sweet tooth, you simply can't leave without trying the gulab jamun, which is one of the best in Brampton. The staff at Paranthe Wali Gali are friendly and attentive, and they're always happy to make recommendations and answer any questions you may have about the menu. And, the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a great option for both a quick bite and a special celebration. In conclusion, Paranthe Wali Gali is a fantastic restaurant that offers a taste of traditional Indian cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. Whether you're a fan of Indian food or trying it for the first time, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful day (around 18°C) when my family and I decided to get takeout from the Clarence Street branch. We ordered two parathas and two mango lassis. Since the online order was at a lower price (something we didn’t know beforehand), we had to do takeout instead of dining in (when I asked if we can do dine in instead of takeout), which was fair. We went to a nearby park so the kids could play while we enjoyed our food. The parathas were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and enjoyable. Unfortunately, things went downhill when I started drinking my mango lassi. After a few sips, I noticed something was off. Upon closer inspection, I saw mold forming at the top of the glass. I was shocked and disgusted. I returned to the restaurant to calmly explain the situation and ask for a refund just for the lassis (since the food was fine). The first staff member I spoke with was dismissive and claimed the drinks were made fresh—which I found hard to believe, as mold doesn’t appear on something freshly prepared. She also tried to blame the issue on the “hot” temperature outside, which was only 18°C, and the drinks had only been out for about 30 minutes. That explanation made no sense. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and handled the situation much better. She apologized sincerely, offered to replace the drinks (which I declined), even offered tea, and processed a refund. Her approach was far more professional and considerate. Overall: Food was good, but the experience with the drinks was terrible and left me with concerns about quality control. Customer service was mixed—one staff member was defensive and unhelpful, but the other handled it very well.

thanks tisha😇

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Paranthe Wali Gali and I must say that my experience was delightful, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Tisha. From her warm welcome to her attentive demeanor throughout my visit, Tisha truly made dining at the restaurant a memorable experience.

I decided to try the mix parantha, and I must say it was absolutely delicious. The parantha was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The mix of various fillings added a burst of flavors that tantalized my taste buds. It was evident that great care was taken in preparing this traditional Indian dish.

To complement my meal, I ordered a lassi, and I must say it was one of the best I have ever tasted. The lassi was creamy, refreshing, and had just the right balance of sweetness. It was the perfect accompaniment to the flavorsome mix parantha.

Tisha's service was exceptional from start to finish. She was knowledgeable about the menu, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring that all my needs were met. Her friendly and attentive nature made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer.

The overall ambiance of Paranthe Wali Gali was cozy and inviting. The restaurant had a rustic charm that added to the dining experience. The staff, including Tisha, were attentive to all guests, ensuring that everyone had a pleasant time.

In conclusion, I highly recommend visiting Paranthe Wali Gali and experiencing the culinary delights served by Tisha. The mix parantha and lassi were absolutely delicious, and Tisha's exceptional service added an extra touch to the dining experience. I look forward to returning and exploring more of the menu at this wonderful...
