I have been going to Starbucks for the last 2 years, everyday and had great experience at all the branches. I have been to all the stores in Mississauga and Brampton. Today I had a very bad experience at this branch. Employees were very rude including the lady who said she was a Manager.
Employees came to me and said the store is closed at 10 pm. I started packing my laptop and another employee came and banged the chairs with heavy noise and with very bad body language. 2nd employee just stood on my back and started watching me closely, if I was leaving or not.
I told him that I am leaving, he can do his work and this is not right that I should be watched like this. Then the Manager came along and I told her what was happening, she also started saying that you must leave right away, with very bad attitude.
I asked for Manager number, she said she is the Manager, I asked for her District Manager number and instead she threatened me to leave.
I never had this experience before and I called Starbucks head office to log my complaint.
I have been to many retail businesses and store, in my last 16 years in Canada and I have never experienced such bad customer service and now after reading poor comments about this branch, I can surely say that the branch manager I met does not have customer service skills, rather than training staff, she instigates them to kick the customer our rudely at 10 pm or at the end of hours. They need to be re trained on how to deal with customer at the end of the day, after customer have paid you and they should have courtesy to nicely treat their customer. I also request Starbucks to please review their policy, retrain the stores to politely and respectfully ask customers to leave. We are not planning to stay after the closing hours. After my 300 visits to 20 other stores, this was my only bad experience where employees have been asked by the Manager to forcibly and rudely push out the customers who bring revenues to a Billion Dollar organization Starbucks. They should have courtesy of 2 minutes while Customer is leaving and not show unnecessary body languages and making noises with chairs and frustrate the very customer who brings revenue. Out of all the places I do not expect this in Canada in this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI received the worst service I have ever received from a Starbucks location ever. I placed a mobile order but upon arrival I noticed that the drive through line was long so I went into the EMPTY store for pick up, after waiting for 2-3 minutes with 4 or 5 staff members behind the counter and no one acknowledging me, I went back to my car and entered the drive through. The person on the intercom only came on after I remarked that no one was there. I stated I had a mobile order that I attempted to pick up on store, but no one assisted. The man rudely stated:
" Who places a mobile order at 5 pm... you know what just drive up, man... drive up... drive up...hello!! I said drive up!!"
It was only 343pm when I placed my order, and it was 355pm when I was at the intercom. I called the restaurant and spoke to a shift supervisor who apologized and advised that I would be refunded....I was not refunded and did not receive the order as I told her, the supervisor, I did not want it. If you speak to people this horribly, I can't imagine how their food is handled.
As a disabled person, this process was exhausting for me to walk into the store and wait without anyone even bothering to say "hello" or "one moment" and then to be treated poorly in the drive-through.
I called the customer service online number, and they were so helpful and even refunded my order. I did not seek any free incentives or bonuses. Just a refund.
If you hate your job, quit! Do not treat people poorly.
Update: One of the assistant managers as well as corporate reached out, and that's the customer service I expect. I felt heard and like my experience mattered. I declined all "free" offers as I'm truly unlikely to return to this store. However, they did offer for me to return and try...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all . This location is near to my house so I often visit . Not mostly all the time satisfied with the service but I just let it passed . From service , customer service is deeply disappointed when taking orders from customers. Drive through is abit narrow . Itās ok because plaza space is not big either for all cars. Taking orders is mainly the key point that they always mess up with the orders , missing, wrong ingredients , drink quality is not good as compared to others branches. Whenever order is not satisfied, I tried to call back to the store for further assistance but the result is āno answeā . I come back to address my concern to staff, I donāt want to make a drama or story lie telling them, and itās waste of my time and gas obviously. They give me a flashback that āmy manager noticed I been complain a lot through my ordersā. At this point, i pay for service , I donāt owe you guys any $, so I should deserve a customer service , instead of no reply on phone call. So store number is for what? On the website??? Some staff are very friendly , but if I take order inside the store , itās supper long time hours, and donāt expect when you will get your orders !! They always prioritize for ādrive throughā services, but you donāt want to block other cars when entering line of drive through so take orders inside thought it will be more helpful but no a good idea. Your staff made my orders wrong , and itās lost of my self-respect to come to this location again. Even I would love to because itās close to my home . The first and the last I give this message , and hopefully take note I would be in the blacklist of your store .
But you not the only one owes...
