Subway — Restaurant in Brampton

Please beware of making online orders to this location. I would advise to not choose this location at all.

I placed an order for 2 subway sandwiches on the Subway app to be picked up at this location, with the intention of taking advantage of the the Buy One Footlong Get One Free on the Subway App promotion. The app charged me for the price of 2 sandwiches without applying the discount. I placed the order at 2:11 pm, with pick up for 2:30. I gave the store a call at 2:15 to inquire about the charge they said they do not participate in this promotion and would not cancel my order, even though the order was placed 4 mins ago, because they have already prepared the food. I think this is unacceptable and a poor reflection on the subway brand. When I arrived at the location for pickup at 2:30 the sandwiches were cold, I asked for the sandwiches to be made fresh and the employees refused to do that, and said Subway policy does not allow them to make fresh sandwiches, even though I have had this service at other Subway locations. Because of this I asked to speak to the manger, who spoke via telephone said that they could not make fresh sandwiches but could add new toppings instead, with no other options I agreed. The employee proceeded to remove all the toppings from the sandwiches and add new toppings to the old bread which still had the old sauces, and decided to warm it up. When his co-worker asked why I wasn’t being offered more toppings the manager promised, the employee said “they didn’t pay for it so they don’t get it”. With no other choice I took the sandwiches and left the store. I ended up throwing out the sandwiches when I got home because they were disgusting from the process of being heated up twice with the old sauces. I had to order food from a different restaurant. Poor Service!

I eat at subway on weekly bases, unfortunately this store has very poor service. I never seen a store manager around, or even someone reliable to meet the expectations of guests. The associates speak english fairly poor and also has attitude. I witnessed various guests leave unhappy, mainly due to the listening skills the associates has. On June 14, 2018 I got yelled at, "What do you want", I felt like leaving right away, I was shocked, and embarrassed. I was very clear in my asking, once I was greeted, I asked for 1 foot long italian herbs and 6 inches white, I repeated my self 2 times, but the associate was still confused and yelled at me.

Area of improvement: Train staff to have better Active listening skills and communications skills. Train staff about Product knowledge. Train staff on bonus points card they have no clue about. Train staff to carry positive attitude and love their job.

Pro: quality of food is as per expectations.

Con: Poor Customer Service. The Bathrooms does not have paper towels, despite the hand wash sign "employee must wash and hand towel dry their hands" so ironic.

went today with my family and our child needed to use the bathroom but the worker said it’s not open? we asked why and she said it’s just not open without any reason. we as customers deserve to know why a basic service is not available to us. there were 2 washrooms there’s no reason as to WHY it’s not open to customers? we paid $40 for food but were unable to use any of the two washrooms?? it’s a basic amenity so if it’s a hassle for one worker to clean the washroom, they should schedule more workers instead of stressing one out and closing the washroom for paying customers. the plan was to eat at the restaurant but this behaviour we were just pissed off. it genuinely does not make sense a family is coming in, paying and your unable to simply use the restroom. in this industry customer satisfaction is literally paramount so situations like this - only cause immediate frustration. the food was okay, we hope to visit again but hoping this ”washroom”...
