Absolutely ridiculous experience at this Subway.
I placed and paid for a mobile order, got the email confirmation and everything. Went to pick it up, and the employee refuses to give me my food unless I show ID. Since when do I need an ID to eat a sandwich? This isn’t a bar, it’s a SUBWAY.
I explained that I don’t have ID on me right now especially since it’s a fully paid food pickup, and I’ve never been asked for it before because they only check the email confirmation (which I showed). She says she’s new and can’t give me the order without it, can’t call a manager to find out if she can give me the food without ID because it’s late, and can’t issue a refund either. So I’m just standing there, being told I can't get my food or my money back.
Eventually, she gives me the sub (gee, thanks), but seriously, where in Subway’s policy does it say ID is required to pick up a sandwich you already paid for?
If this is a new policy, it’s absurd. If it’s just this location making things up, that’s worse. This location needs to retrain their employees or hire competent...

When I arrived, the two girls working (at evening at around 7:45pm on 19 april )there began asking for excessive verification – email, confirmation mail, app profile – all of which I showed without hesitation.
Despite providing everything they asked for, one of them insisted on seeing a physical ID, which I didn’t have on me at the time. Then, to my surprise, she asked to see my credit card, which felt like a serious invasion of privacy. I had already verified my identity through multiple means, and yet she continued to question me with a rude and dismissive attitude.

I knew it won’t be ready right away so I went and nicely mentioned to the employee “Hi I just placed and order online just now” and her rude response in rude tone was “your pick up is at 3:50pm” while she was preparing my order.I ignored her this time because she is pregnant and I didn’t want to say anything back. Later I clearly mentioned I want extra toppings and when I see she put less so I kindly said “Can you add extra olives please” and she didn’t respond first later I repeated again extra olives and her rude response was “I DID” which she clearly did not. And I still stayed quiet. She wrapped my sub very messy too and was very mean at the end. I was having a very good day but she ruined it.
