Romana Pizza — Restaurant in Brandon

We were just back to our hometown of Brandon, MB this past weekend. For interest-sake, we did a bake-off between Romana Pizza and Marino's. We ordered extra-large bacon and pepperoni pizzas from both and compared.

The Marino's toppings seem to slide off the pizza dough indicating to me that there was less cheese (subjective assessment - it just appeared that way). Amount of bacon was decent, with pepperoni hidden below the upper cheese & bacon toppings. I liked the Romano's because it seemed to have more sauce - a personal preference. It also appeared to have more cheese.

Taste-wise, the pizzas were very similar - definitely like the shaved/shredded ham in place of crumbled bacon.

Given that there pricing is almost identical (about $32 or so per-pizza), delivery is still very inexpensive (

Last week I ordered the special same thing I’ve been ordering for years from this place! I specifically asked for no onions as my husband is allergic and I mentioned that to him like 3 times! But I did ask for green onion on the side for myself. We got the pizza and they’re was onions in it so we called them and the guy was not helpful at all he was being rude about it too he didn’t offer another pizza or anything instead he choose to make it like it was my fault or something and I’ve been ordering from this place for years but as of last week we will not be ordering from here anymore and I will not recommend this place like how I’d normally do. That’s too bad because this was my all the time favourite place to go to for pizza! In the future please be nicer and more helpful...

Didn't take any photos as there was no dine in option due to renos being done. The food here is absolutely the best omg I've been to a lot of pizza joints and they don't compare to this one. Price is decent and I gotta say the chicken fettuccine Alfredo is hands down the most tastiest I've ever had. Used to be my go to place for pregnancy cravings. My little guy loved it. If your looking for a great pizza and pasta place this is it. I always wished for other locations to be opened but unfortunately the only way to experience the Romanas cuisine is to head to Brandon.
