Looking for something to keep the family entertained we went the AGSWO. it is inside the town centre on the second floor so we had some confusion finding it. They have a reasonably large main galley room and a hallway gallery and a gift shop. The primary exhibition was equally impressive and disturbing. The craft of the art was high for the most part bur the subject matter was largely lost on me. As an Engineer I am probably not even close to appreciating the message. However as I said it was generally well crafted I am sure it is a challenge to find exhibits for a small gallery such as this but I personally would choose more realist works.

What a great little gallery. Was visiting with family and had heard Derry Dector (artist) being interviewed on CBC so added a visit to our weekend. This artist work was display in a long hall way. The little shop with some local and other MB artist work was an added feature. Hope the powers that be will continue to support galleries like this one. Thank you!!
