Swiss Chalet — Restaurant in Brandon

After standing in the lobby by the hostess desk for quite sometime unacknowledged I was finally escorted to a table and given a menu, I quickly ordered my meal but was told that there would be a 15 minute wait for my chicken I didn’t really have much choice so I waited. Finally my meal showed up and it was cooked appropriately and tasted fine although I was surprised at the half full small bowl of the Swiss chalet sauce and when I inquired why there was so little the waitress simply quipped “that was what I got” 🙄 I was one of only three small tables of guests and so I was curious why everything had taken so long but finally my dessert showed up, strangely markedly much smaller than the advertisement right in front of me (see photo) and then before I had even finished my dessert unceremoniously an interact machine was dropped in front of me and I felt like I was getting the bum’s rush even though the restaurant was basically empty. It was an okay dining experience but certainly not warm and welcoming or something that I’d like to repeat anytime soon, don’t get me wrong the food was fine it’s just the lapse in profession service that you should expect from a national chain that left me with...

so my bf and I came in to Swiss Chalet for the first time last night and we shared the 3 course dinner and we got the dark meat dinner, when it arrived I gave him a portion of the chicken and I noticed it was really pink.. he had already ate most of his not noticing but I notified my server so she said she was getting them to bring a new piece and once that one came out it was still very pink.. so I said just give me a white meat piece.. and once again pink.. so the "manager" I'm assuming told me that the kitchen said " it's not under cooked or raw its just the pigmentation.." which is a big fat lie.. I've been in the food business I've had slow cooked chicken or roasted chicken from Walmart and never has it been pink. Also to add to it she basically reassured my bf that it's fine to eat and low and behold I was up all night with my bf while he was sicker than a dog.. took to emergency because he said it was worse and different from other food poising. Everything else was fine the perogies and pie and my server was amazing but customers beware if they try to tell you its the pigment please do not eat that chicken. please don't make the same...

My husband And I decided to eat at your establishment on Dec 7 at 3pm ish..first off the bathroom floors seemed liked they were washed with real dirty water and the paper towel dispenser were washed with same water( no sanitizing here it looks like) The waitress was patient and courteous as she waited for us to decide what to order Both My husband and I ordered the roastesery chicken hot sandwich..I swear the potatoes were instant potatoes out of a box..and it was cold my butter wouldn't even melt in it...the vegetables were cold also..my husband said his French fries were cold..only thing that was acceptable was the gravy on the sandwich which was warm not hot There is a temp food is to be served at ...and this definitely was not it We Mentioned to waitress she was apologetic( not her fault) and gave us 8.00 discount.. Me personally would have given more off or a gift certificate. The end result...won't be eating...
