This review is from a memory about 7 or 8 years ago. The food was mad. Was there with my family, up from Winnipeg, and everyone's meal was amazing. Great place. I still remember one of the cocktails' names: "Disgruntled Postal Worker." What's not to like?! I have recommended it to people back in Winnipeg, and even to people in Australia as I have lived there since.

Fun little memory here. There were a group of guys at the bar, and one of them was getting endearingly rowdy. "Somebody That I Used to Know" was a popular current song at the time and he just kept singing, very off-key might I add, "But you didn't have to CUT me off...make it like it never HAPPENED..." and just trailed off like that every time. It was so funny.

He just kept doing this to the point of being ushered out with his mates after a while. He didn't protest, but he did moon the window when he was outside. It was honestly so funny and entertaining, and truly made the whole experience all the more memorable for all of us. If ever I am visiting my family in Canada again, I'll be sure to take a drive out west and have a stop at Joe Beeverz....

The food is always great and the services is friendly and fast. I always enjoy going there when stopping in Yorkton. But the main thing I want to leave a review about is the way that they go above and beyond what is ever expected of them. We came from out of town to Yorkton for a tournament and after the game went and had supper before driving back home. My son changed his shoes and left his cleats under the table. Chris H. from the restaurant saw them and came out to the parking lot, but we’ve already left. When I contacted the restaurant the next day to see if they were there, Chris told me that he had them and offered to ship them back. He even phoned me back after the heartbreaking Oilers loss when the restaurant was absolutely slammed and he’d already been at work for about 12 hours. We are arranged for them to be sent to me and he went on his day off to make sure that my kid would get his cleats as quickly as possible.

Thanks, Chris. Truly...

My first time here was a couple years ago when a few of us drove out from Winnipeg to try their perogy poutine. It was very flavourful and huge portions even with takeout being the only option at the time.

I was finally in the area again recently and decided to give the pretzel "charcuterie" board a try. Everything was delicious but sadly didn't really taste any of the garlic butter that was supposed to be on the pretzel... which was pretty disappointing. Although the candied bacon was great, kettle chips had the perfect crunch, sauce variety was fantastic. Overall it was satisfying but the pretzel itself needs more work. Between two people it was a very filling lunch and could definitely be shared with three!

Customer service was fantastic during both visits. Will definitely...

I wanted to like this place, and in fact my meal was pretty good. Unfortunately, their lack of professionalism ruined the evening. One of our group is gluten intolerant and requested a gluten free bun. When the meal was presented the bun looked remarkably similar to a non gluten free one. When questioned the server apologized and said she’d replace it, which she did after about 10 minutes. Just as we finally began eating, the server returned to say that in fact, the kitchen had decided not to change the bun and had sent it back out. What??? Why? To give her credit, the server apologized and said she’d discount the meal. Check out the discount in the photo!!! We won’t be back.

We went here on a spur of the moment after calling to see if they had gluten free options. They had quite a few selections. I got the rink burger with Hawkins cheezies as a side. As of what I understood from the menu the burger was supposed to have a bun though mine came in a lettuce wrap. It's nice you are allowed to bring children here till 8pm. However the food wasn't anything that would make me WANT to go back or tell someone you NEED to eat here.
