The 40 — Restaurant in Brandon

If I could I would leave less than 1 star. Worst experience of my life, we had gone out to see my sister sing, after my friend was cut off, she was holding an already empty bottle, the bouncer comes yanking it from her hand and telling her she just drank that whole bottle after being cut off, we started to leave and he chased us out, at the door I stuck my arm out so he wouldn't stand so close to her thinking he was going to put his hands on her, he instead put his hands on my chest and shoved me hard as he could, then I turn around and his girlfriend who also works there grabbed my friend by the throat and threw her to the ground, I pushed her off my friend so we could get out and then she grabbed my throat and tried to throw me down as well. That bouncer said I assaulted 3 staff members, what I did was try to get some space between then and us because they were trying to start a fight when we kept saying we're going. They knew who my friend was personally and attacked. PS* and to find out days later from someone who had worked there that this us something they do, they pick a group of people to start trouble with, aside from work I haven't...

Ditch bar- wouldnt go again. Only highlight, the bar tender was extremely nice! Wish I remembered her name, but she was great, and unfortunately working alone which made for a long line on a Friday night for a drink. They don't have their own kitchen (which is the reason for a 1 I wont rate you based on another restaurants food), they depend on chicken chef, so food is done at 9 and ordering is weird so we went to the restaurant itself then came back.... to a $10 entry fee. We paid to get in hoping the entertainment and vibe would be worth it but nope. No one dancing, no one laughing, saw a few homeless people playing slots. The tables were sprawled out weird so there was no real flow when you walk in making you want to go to anything. Honestly had one drink then left again after that and...

The bar is hopping on the weekends with great music. Staff are extremely friendly and the service is A1! Problem patrons are dealt with in a very professional manner and quickly so as not to ruin your evening out! I have been there where two female patrons actually assulted the staff. Could not believe my eyes when she grabbed a female staff member by the throat! If it had of been me I would pressed charges. The staff put up with lots of harrassment but deal with it in a manner that is quite honestly better than what is deserved. Looking forward to the weekend to get back at the bar for more excellent music...
