I recently had the pleasure of attending our Mazergroup party at the Lady of the Lake Café, and I must say it was the best experience ever! From the moment we walked in, the talented assistant manager Amanda and her amazing colleagues transformed the space into a winter wonderland that was simply enchanting. The attention to detail in the decor created a magical atmosphere that set the tone for the evening.
The food was nothing short of impeccable! We were delighted to discover gluten-free options available, and my husband, Brad Tarr, was thrilled with the choices for the team. The shaved roast beef served with whipped garlic potatoes, grilled vegetables, and Yorkshire pudding topped with mushroom gravy was a standout, while the Mediterranean chicken breast was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had, especially when paired with whipped potatoes and grilled vegetables. To start our meal, we enjoyed the beautifully presented wine and goat cheese salad, along with a warm, fresh biscuit and or a gluten-free biscuit that was simply divine.
To top it all off, the desserts were heavenly, and the live entertainment featuring three wonderful comedians from Yuk Yuks had us laughing until our sides hurt. It truly spread the Christmas cheer throughout the evening!
If you're looking for a fantastic spot for brunch, lunch, or dinner on a Friday night, I wholeheartedly recommend Lady of the Lake Café. You will not be disappointed!
P.S … we wouldn’t mind if you added those meals to your menu 🥰
Merry Christmas to everyone at the café!

Read moreWent out last night to see Emma Peterson perform and have dinner. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes and had two skunky beers in a row, so they got some from another case in the back and they were fine. Later on in the evening I got another skunky one, so I changed brands and it was fine. Everyones meals were good other than mine which was the Excaliburger that was made with a mushy meatloaf. I tried to eat it but only ate like a 1/4 of it but my Hungarian soup was very good. Had the waitress came around to ask how everything was I would have told here. Speaking of waitress the place was packed and very understaffed as it took forever to get a drink. I’m sure having a couple more staff would probably increase their sales dramatically. Towards the end of the night while the band was still playing at 10:45 I asked for another drink and was told I already told you guys it was last call when we ordered our last round of drinks. Excuse me for wanting to spend more money there. This was my first time dining there on a Friday night and Certainly never left with the feeling that I can hardly wait to...

I can appreciate getting everything out of your produce, but a used lime, have some respect for your customers. The roast beef panini was supposed to come with caramelized onions, they were ligtly sauté at best and still crunchy, the beef was piled in the middle with no care taken in its assembly.
We also had nobody come to the table to refill drinks or ask about the food. We really expected more from what we could read and were told, is a higher end restaurant in Brandon, this was not the case today. We unfortunately won't frequent this establishment again...
