love this place, everyone here is really nice & smoothies always come out great. the only thing i'm worried about is when i go there and see a young girl working alone. not cool. last time i visited this location, i was helped by a 16/17 year old looking girl who was very sweet and hospitable, and she told me that she was new. alarms rang in my head instantly, as it seemed as if she was completely alone in that store, and before i ordered she was cleaning up and doing chores all by herself. first of all, she shouldn't be left alone up front especially while she's young, and new at the job. but what worried me the most when i was about to leave and an old, kinda creepy lookin man came in and got super up close to the counter. i had a bad feeling about leaving her there alone with some random guy and watched from my car for a bit just in case. there may have been someone in the back the whole time, but i think its dangerous to let customers or just anyone perceive that there is a young girl working all alone in your store. if your customers are fearing for your employees safety, then you should too. you probably already pay this poor girl student minimum wage and you're just going to leave her vulnerable to danger in the workplace too? you guys should prioritize your new, young employee's safety, especially in this city where bad incidents have happened young women at other restaurants close by, and where crime is quite prevalent. please please please watch over your staff more, bad things can happen in an instant. i hope that girl is okay and stays safe from now on. i'd be terrified...
Read moreI visited the Brantford Lynden Road Booster Juice location about an hour ago and ordered two juices (Ginger Hammer and Hail to the Kale). When they were ready, I noticed the colours were noticeably duller than I’m used to at other Booster Juice locations.
When I asked about it, staff explained that not all ingredients are juiced to order at this location. Instead, some are pre-juiced in batches to save time during busy periods. While I understand the business reasons, this practice takes away what I value most about Booster Juice: knowing that all ingredients are freshly juiced right in front of me.
Without real-time juicing, customers can’t know whether the juice in those pitchers is five minutes old, an hour old, or even older. That uncertainty undermines the freshness and appeal that sets Booster Juice apart.
I encourage this location to reconsider its approach and return to fully made-to-order juices. Until then, I won’t be returning to this...
Read moreI usually go to this location as it's near my house and I go every other day before work. I decided to buy myself a reusable cup for once because it was so pretty it's the new purple one they have. I went today to get a booster my usually pomegranate punch with added banana when I left the store my cup went flying and broke because the lady did not put the lid on correctly as I had a hold of it from the top :( so sad I absolutely loved the cup. But when I went back in to explain what happened I asked for them to replace the cup and smoothie as it was my lunch before work and I am pregnant but the manager refused to replace any of it. Absolutely horrible I will definitely never be going back to this location again. The staff is usually very nice, even at Starbucks if this happens they will replace...
