Fast Eddie's — Restaurant in Brantford

We we’re in Brantford , ON this day (07/21/2023) about 2:30 P.M. in the afternoon. We weren’t that hungry, so we just grabbed a small snack. There was no line in the drive-thru, we are from Hamilton, ON where there used to be 3 Fast Eddies franchises now there’s none in Hamilton area. Always known for a cheap, economical meal or snack. On this day they had all pops on sale for .99 cents any size (I guess a summer special) something like McDonalds has. I just got a regular cheesy fries, wife just got a plain hamburger. Cheesy fries were hot with plenty of cheese spread all over them and a very good portion for $5.98 + HST burger was $2.29 + HST. 2 Pepsi’s for .99 cents each had lots of ice cubes and an actual plastic straw (not the cardboard ones that collapse). The young lady at the P/U window was courteous and personable. She handed us our order and waved at our dog in the back of our car. The small snack filled us up, until we got home, but both of us weren’t hungry at all still. It was nice to get up to The Bell City, to try a Fast Eddies again (prices have risen a bit) but what hasn’t these days. Plenty of parking, located right in a Mall parking lot off of Tge Wayne...

On a short trip to Brantford, ON from Hamilton, ON on this day 02/14/2025 around 2:30 P.M. We’d hadn’t eaten breakfast, so we were a bit hungry. We were in this Plaza anyway, doing other shopping, so we decided to give Fast Eddie’s a try. We ordered 2 cheese burgers, one pickle crazy fry and one cheesy crazy fry with a Strawberry milkshake and a Pepsi. IDK, cheeseburgers were only $2.79 each, to be honest, were nothing really worth while writing home about, but they filled the spot. Patty was a little on the thin side, nice generous piece of cheese, garnished with mustard, ketchup and one pickle on somewhat of a chewy bun? The pickle crazy fry’s were OK, tasted like pickles with salt on them, served hot in a double bag. The cheesy crazy fry’s were served in a cone like cup, smothered with cheese sauce on the fries, with a pinch of salt. They were good, the Strawberry milkshake was good, and a good size for the money and even gave you a real plastic straw to sip it not a collapsible cardboard one. The Pepsi was fresh, carbonated and plenty of ice distributed throughout the cup. All in all, it served its purpose, for an economical...

It's March 25, 2023 at 3:54pm. The 50ish year old white lady with reddish brown hair working the cash is brutal. Rude and poor customer service. I just gave you seven bucks for a fry with some extra pickle seasoning on it. That price is ridiculous. The least you can do is say thank you or have any manners at all. I asked for an extra bag because it's literally leaking oil out of the bottom. She tells me, "it already has two bags." Oh, really? I don't remember asking you how many times it was bagged. I don't want oil stains all over my car seats or my clothing. Other than challenging my request for an additional bag, the only thing she said to me was $7. Recommendation: Take a bath in school glue and roll around in green feathers if want to be such a grouch so bad.

Oh, and I asked if she had a bigger bag by chance, than the brown paper sandwich bag she gave me... You know, like maybe a Fast Eddie's bag made for greasy food? She hands me another brown bag and says, "it'll fit." Girl, I never...
