Myra's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Brantford

I'm not usually one to write a review like this but here I go... We normally wouldn't go out for Father's day but decided to check out Myra's for their brunch buffet.

There was a good selection of food from standard breakfast fair, baked beans, corn, pulled pork, Mac n cheese and brisket. Plus a cold bar of salads and dessert. The Mac n cheese, pulled pork and coconut cream pie were really good. Now for the not so great part, not sure how real the eggs were, texture and taste were weird, the brisket was very tough, for fruit all they had was a bowl of canned fruit in syrup and then the desserts were premade squares and mini buttertarts. So with all of that, I was a bit disappointed, maybe I should have gone in with lower expectations because it's in a hotel? I've heard good things about the food before so that's why we decided to check it out.

Cost was $26 per person and come bill time I noticed they charged me $12.99 for my 2 year old 🥴 Beverages were extra on top of the set price. It was nice to try out a new to us place but we will likely stick to our regular spots...

Was disappointed in the selection of food. There were definitely enough options for it to still basically be worth it, but was definitely looking for some pancakes, waffles or french toast. Also pretty let down that they had sausage patties instead of links as they are my favourite. Had a small selection of baked goods including danish, cakes etc. Homemade soup was offered which my husband loved. Omlette bar was nice and had a good choice of toppings. Salad bar had some decent selections as well. Everything was very festively decorated for the holidays. The service was amazing. Plates cleared and fresh water top ups quickly. Nice conversation when appropriate. Would give food 2/5 and service 4/5. A good meal...

My husband and I just came home from having his birthday dinner at your restaurant. We had never been in the restaurant before but decided to come for the special prime rib dinner . Our waitress was Hailey, she is very friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the cheese bread which was really good and then had the prime rib dinner. What an amazing dinner . Prime rib was a very good size thick piece cooked exactly to our liking and came with lots of delicious baby roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, and mixed vegetables. The dinner was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu and the amazing buffet . Thank you Hailey and Myras for a wonderful ...
