Food was good but service was horrible. We were a group of 9 and called upfront for reservations. They said they don’t have any provisions for reservations over weekend but they can add us to waiting list. When we reached there, which was 20 min earlier than what we told we should be reaching by, they told us our table was given to someone else as we were late. We understood it considering it was not a reservation. But true hustle starts after that. We said we can split and sit at separate tables , even if it’s far. We had a baby, a toddler and a kid, all getting hangry. They still took 45 minutes to make us seat. They were allowing all people coming after us, they looked pretty unpleasant dealing with us, I felt it had to do with being of specific race. Our kids were outside and we weren’t making any noises. Just silently waiting for our turn and checking after every 10 min. When asked about letting other people go in, receptionist was like oh I thought someone is looking to make you seat. And this happened 2-3 times. Finally when we got our table, we got same behaviour from waitress. She asked for drinks and along with drinks we wanted to order food for kids, she denied taking food order and rudely said well I am asking you guys what you want to drink, I am not taking food order yet. Considering kids were waiting long and were hungry I thought a little accommodation was nothing big to ask. It went on and on. Well end of story might visit another stacked pancake location because food was tasty but never gonna visit a place where you are treated with discrimination. Smiles to other while stares to one sort of community is...
Read moreUgh, my cousin and I had gone here for breakfast this morning, first time. Went in around 10am, there was probably 5 tables most already eating or just waiting to eat. We sat down and got coffee and ordered, we both ordered omelettes. After we were there for 10mins or so maybe 4 more tables of two people at each eventually came in after us, during the hour we were there, waiting for food. We had another coffee. There was about maybe 4 waitresses, needless to say we were sitting there an hour and the waitress just kept walkn by and twice she said ok ladies your foods coming soon. Only after the fact that we seen all the tables that came in after us, ordering way after us, all get their food before us, and we were still waiting for our breakfast. So we just got up and left the restaurant because we still didnt even get served our food. So we went to Angels down the road and got seated told them what just happened, the waitress at Angels was like ooh no. So she put our food in and the cook literally made our food in 5mins and it was packed in Angels as always. We were in and out in 15-20mins at Angels. After having to wait at Stacked for an hour for food that didn't even come! And Im a chef myself at that....
Read moreWent for late breakfast on a Sunday, so I figured it would be busy. We were asked to take a seat in the area between the two doors and they'd tell us when a table was available. Well, they forgot about us. People were coming in and getting seated as we waited. When I went back in and asked why others were being seated, they said they'd get us a table right away. I ordered the Express breakfast. Pretty basic meal. I asked for overhard eggs and sausage. I cut into my eggs and white and yellow flowed out all over my plate. Yolk is one thing, uncooked egg white is another. I took one bite of my sausage and it was raw and pink inside. The waitress was very pleasant, but it took quite some time to get her attention (it was busy) to get this taken care of. My companion ate her breakfast while I had to wait to get this addressed. She took my plate and got it replaced, but that really ruined my meal. It shouldn't be that hard to cook eggs and link sausage. At the end of the meal, I was given a 20% off my next visit coupon. I would've preferred it taken off this meal as this experience has made me never want to come back. Being forgotten and served raw food does not make me want...
