Dough'pe experience always at Cobs! First of all... the heavenly smell when you walk in, especially since I made an early morning stop (which their opening times are awesome to grab a fresh Loaf for a wholesome breakfast) is literally incredible. Your wowed at the almost blinding golden crust everywhere whilst drooling like a dog. Their selection is great! All products made fresh with minimal and wholesome ingredients for a super yummy and fantastic grade product. As always, I made sure to haul my go-to Wholegrain Country Loaf, yum! Love how Cobs gives back to the community through profits and their own initiatives, a great company is one that supports and allows other local businesses to leverage and thrive with them. You can so redeem Cobbs rewards with your associated cell phone number, making earning free dough (Pun intended) a sure breeze. I also snagged a Cinnamon Scone, which you could say was the creme de la crumb! Although a tad dry. Cobs Bread is a big chain, but support local businesses and charities just like this fantastic...
Read moreGenerally excellent service, and consistently great products, as is expected from the COBS chain of stores. Just had one poor experience where I called to pre-order for pick-up on the weekend, but a mix-up happened and my order was apparently prepped for the day prior. That would have been fine, except the fellow snapped at me and said it was my fault for requesting the incorrect day - otherwise I would give a 5-star rating. To balance that, one time prior to that, my order was not ready on time and the owner/manager happened to be there. He went above and beyond, offering to deliver it to us + generously provided some free scones as well. Prices are reasonable for the quality of product. Sometimes people look for grocery store prices at bakeries, but this is obviously a step up. Overall, would recommend. Lots of great options for school lunches, breakfasts, snacks - a carb lover's dream...
Read moreBeen here a few times and have been selective on what I buy. I usually love walking into a working bakery filled with bakery goods aroma. Fresh bread is my weakness but at Cob's, it's different. I don't get the bread aroma but I see there's a lot of variety of bread loaves to pick from. I've tried their pizza bread, flatbread, sourdough buns, etc. They're all good but Instead of soft, fluffy bread, you get hard crusted, hardy bread. All fresh and with premium quality ingredients but you certainly pay for it. By the way, if you see a pack of 6 sourdough buns marked at $1.00 - it's not what you think. It is $1.00 per bun. I think it's wrong to display $1.00 next to...
