If you like Korean food then you'll like Kutlet. We weren't impressed because everything was lukewarm when the food was served. I usually like my soup hot but I found it lukewarm at the start. My pork tenderloin was pink in the middle but the waiter ensured me it was cooked by temperature so was safe. The bibimbap was cold. Unlike other places, this dish is usually piping hot in a clay pot. When asked, the waiter said it's a cold dish. Really? Imo, it wasn't cold enough. The rice was lukewarm and the veggies were room temperature. The only thing that was hot was our hot water that we had to accompany our meals. Food was tasty, sauces were nice but overall, pricey. I liked it as a romantic Cafe but I'm afraid the menu will not draw enough patrons back. I usually like to see 2-3 choices on the menu to motivate me on returning but aside from the signature cutlet dish and the bibimbap, I can't see returning anytime soon. Music genre was for a younger crowd. I was hoping to hear Rose' Apt song but didn't hear it. My recommendations would be to split up the lunch menu from the dinner menu. Lunch items need to be priced competitively, $10 to $20. Dinner items $20-$30. And food served hotter than what it is. Waiter needs to be more attentive. There was a rude customer behind us that kept yelling 'hello' to get the waiter's attention. Hope you get a chance to try Kutlet.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Kutlet. Both of us had the pork tenderloin, which was excellent—crispy, juicy, and super satisfying. We added the banchan set, which was also very good, but honestly might be overkill since the tenderloin already comes with pickled vegetables, kimchi, cabbage coleslaw, purple rice, and miso soup. It’s plenty of food on its own. The wings were another highlight—a huge serving and absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend paying the extra for the sweet gravy; it made both the tenderloin and wings even better. The gravy actually reminded us of Dae Ji in the best way. The only downside was the cabbage coleslaw—it was a bit too heavily dressed and ended up wilted…. Service was great even though it got pretty busy. There was only one server, who was really pleasant (and gave us Kristen Wiig vibes haha) and managed everything smoothly. The space itself is clean, with a modern, neutral Asian aesthetic and enough seating for about 20–30 people. We’ll definitely be back soon! Though our favorite for katsu is still Saku (yes it’s Japanese v this one which is Korean fusion..we love their unlimited rice, coleslaw, and soup), Kutlet is a fantastic addition to the Tswassen area

Cute little restaurant and the staff was responsive and kind! Would have loved to try more dishes (saw many positive reviews) but this time we got katsu and the chicken. Free refills for rice, salad, and miso soup! Some thoughts about the food: Purple rice: great healthy alternative and tasted great! but should take note in case you don’t like that since white rice isn’t available Kimchi & pickled veggies: tasted great! i can tell it’s thoughtfully made Salad: great that it’s free refill, but I think dressing would be better with a more citrus flavour. Tastes like it was made with dashi? It may be more refreshing with vinegar/citrus taste! Kutlet: I got the tenderloin and it was amazing! The sauce was great too, I do again wish there was lemons or something to accommodate it. The lemon salt was not very lemony… Maybe just personal preference! Miso soup: seems homemade, lots of thought in the food. however, it was quite salty so 1 bowl was plenty Overall, I had a good experience and seems like a fairly new restaurant so I think there’s lots of room for improvement! would try another dish next time 😊

I wrote a long review but unfinished and went I came back it was gone lol. My husband and I are very happy to find out a new Korean restaurant was opening in Tsawwassen because we love Korean cuisine. We have also been to countless Korean restaurants here in Lower Mainland. We had the pork cutlet and bibimbap here 4 times already. The cutlet is crispy on the outside and juicy and tender inside. It comes with fresh cabbage salad, pickles, kimchi, and bowl of Korean fermented soybean soup, and a bowl of Multigrain rice. The bibambap bowl comes with a variety of veggies and pickles, stir fry beef and sunny side up egg. Both dishes are beautifully presented and generous in portion. I have tried bibimbap in many places and the dish here is the best I have tasted so far. We can tell the chef put their hearts and mind into their food. It will be a miss to not mention their kimchi. Hand down the best kimchi I have ever had. I often make kimchi at home because I'm usually not satisfied with the store-bought. Their kimchi has a balance of flavors among sourness, sweetness, and spiciness. Can't get enough of it so next time we will get a full side order lol. The prices is on a 'higher scale' side but they match the quality of their food. Service is friendly and attentive. We enjoy the tea they offer and it is free! Small but cozy and clean restaurant. We are excited to try the other items on the menu 😋 Thanks Kutlet for coming to Tsawwassen. Now we don't have to travel far when we crave Korean food. Wish you good health...

Quite excited to see a Korean restaurant in Tws area. I understand Kutlet is more of fusion and not truly authentic but Im a bit disappointed as it wasnt like all the good review Ive read.

We came around 6pm on a Thursday, there were 3 tables that I saw already have food, 1 of them is about to leave; but still we waited about 30mins before we started to get some food. My younger son was a bit upset as he was very hungry so I had to take him out for some fresh air.

We ordered Pork tenderloin, omelette rice and chicken wings. The staff brought out firstly the rice and the side soup, my son was so hungry he ended up just ate the plain rice. 10mins later we got the wings, but not the pork which supposed to be with the rice. 5 mins late we got our pork and at that time, my son already finished the plain rice. And then Omelette rice, but at this point me and my husband didnt have any cutlery, had to remind the staff twice. Pork came out not hot and was a pretty dry, no taste no flavor. Bowl of rice was super tiny, I guess around 1/3 cup, not even enough for my kid. Wings were a hit. We all really enjoyed it. Omelette rice was very flavourful and tasty. I personally enjoyed it. But portion size I must say is very small

Overall my experience was quite disappointed. The reviews are pretty overhyped this place. I may not come back anytime soon, and if I ever will, it may be just for the wings.

I’m genuinely confused by all the glowing reviews for this place. We happened to be nearby and were looking for a quick lunch without driving too far. This restaurant came up with high ratings for Korean food, so we decided to give it a try — unfortunately, it was a letdown from start to finish.

Despite the restaurant being nearly empty (only one table was occupied and they were almost done), we waited over 30 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived, the portions were shockingly small and the taste was far from what we expected.

We ordered the kimchi tofu soup and specifically asked how big the portion was and how much tofu it included. We were told “about 8 pieces,” but what we received were tiny 0.5mm tofu cubes floating in a very small bowl. The soup tasted like it had been sitting overnight and simply reheated — not fresh at all.

As for the “Kutlet set” (not sure why Google is not give me option to upload pictures), it was cold and clearly not freshly fried. It had a stale texture that left us questioning whether it had just been sitting around before being served.

What finally pushed me to write this review is seeing a flood of influencer posts praising this place on social media. I honestly don’t understand where the praise is coming from. Please don’t be misled by the high ratings — the food quality and experience just didn’t match the hype. I wouldn’t...
