12 minutes I will never get back.....Moved here last August and was so excited to see Starbucks. Been disappointed every since. I order a breakfast sandwich with Ketchup and not once have they given me Ketchup. The drinks are hit and miss if they are made correctly. The drive thru is brutal. Place your order for walk in because it is quicker. I will say the staff is certainly good natured and fun and happy all the time which I love. Today placed my order at 1124. Got in drive thru at 1128 with two vehicles already ordered and waiting at the window. They asked me to wait to order. I said no problem. After several minutes went by I was starting to get worried. Then she asks me for my order which was a mobile order for pick up. So she says yes we have it here. Great. Pull forward and sit. See the message "your order is ready". Still two vehicles in front of me. Finally the one vehicle gets their drink and they leave. I am shocked because I waited so long thought it must be a big order. Then we sit again. After several minutes...the second vehicle gets their 2 drinks. Then I sit and wait.....and wait....when she finally comes I asked how come its so slow and she said they had lots of customers in the store. Which when I looked over her shoulder I thought really? Didn't look that busy to warrant a 12 min wait in drive thru. So everywhere else prioritizes drive thru except this place. Order and pick up inside because it will be way quicker. In total took 12 minutes to get my order in drive thru when I ordered ahead. Frankly I have started to go to Timmy's instead sometimes because I hate the wait at this place. Timmy's is always quick and...
Read moreWell, im a bit put off this place. The waits are sooooooo long in the store and the baristas are far less personable then they used to be. They've lost alot of their best staff. A few years ago id go EVERY day. But i just dont bother anymore. The waits are on average about 10 to 15 minutes to get a coffee. Sadly, this estimate is both optimistic and void of hyperbole.
If I order a decaf for instance, they hand pour the decafs (call it a pour over). About %50 of the time they pour the first bit of hot water into the filter and then go to next customer and totally forget about my coffee. I have to come back and remind them then they pour more.... then i have to come back and by this time im upset and i remind them again about my decaf. In the end (no exaggeration) 50% of the time, after about 15 minutes and 3 reminders, they give me a COLD COFFEE as its been sitting there all this time.
Wouldnt be soooo bad if they had a microwave to heat it but they dont.... so either i have to sit and watch them make a second one or grit my teeth and just leave it till i can microwave it somewhere else.
follow up edit* FRUSTRATING!!! In order to get a hot coffee i have to literally stand beside the till and tell them to do the second pour and then tell them when its done. IT'S DRIVING ME ABSOLUTELY UP THE WALL!!!! Please...
Read moreOne of the worst experiences I've ever had and I'm a power consumer of Starbucks. I was made to walk through the busy drive thru, was told they didn't have any dark roast, they stopped brewing at 11 am, it was 4;45, then I was told they wouldn't do a pour over. Which I explained you can always do a pour over. Told to step aside, I'll stop cars for you when it is ready. When I said that I didnt appreciate being made to unsafely walk amongst idling cars, I overheard the partner being told, you dont need to take that abuse. When I stepped up to get my 2 drinks I was told that the second label didnt print and they had tossed the coffee, would I like an americano, to which anyone who knows me knows how offended I am to the idea of the drink. I was offered another drink.which they proceeded to make the wrong one. While I was waiting for my drinks they made an error on the order of the next customer, they gave them a 4 dollar gift card for the error. I got nothing but the wrong drinks, poor service exhaust fumes and a cup with the label of the drink I ordered with a drink I...
