We went in for a meal today, got there by about 230 so there was only one server on. Thought it was odd for rodeo weekend but oh well. The server was nice to start, very friendly and pleasant… until it all went downhill.
They did not have iced tea, our Mac and cheese bites came out dropped into a bowl, no napkins, no sauce, no anything. Which was when I was informed that they had no pesto for my original order. Okay, I’m not super picky in that sense and chose something else.
My meal came out, and it looked just like it tasted. Bland. The shrimp was undercooked and my empty glass sat on the side of the table for nearly 45 minutes.
We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, she was the only server and was quite busy.
What was the final straw was when another girl came in and they both stood behind the bar talking to customers for 10 minutes before she asked her to go clear tables in the dining room rather than assisting the customers that had not received any service since food was delivered.
I am not one to leave poor reviews and I love to support local businesses… but this place NEEDS Gus back or it is going to fail. The service and quality have suffered so much since...
Read moreI will try not to sound like a (Karen) lol. I will how ever be blunt, this place needs to get it together! Your food was incredible, it was out of this world! The portions on my wife's plate, not to mention the mountain of Nachos I received made us very happy. But waiting 2hrs for your food is just not cool!! But (My food was though). Her food was fantastic hot and very yummy. But like I said waiting 2hrs for the best food in the world is still waiting 2hrs! Two waitresses for roughly 20-30 people is unexceptable not to mention the oven broke down? These poor girls were running like chickens with their heads cut off. But then again they also stopped to make time to check Facebook or something on their phone so maybe it wasn't that bad. I sat with no food, and my pop was empty for at least 50 min before I was asked if I wanted more. My wife even had to get our own menu after waiting for 10 min! So to Sum it up,
#1 hire more staff
#2 make sure you don't have faulty equipment and
#3 make sure the customers are taken care of before your text messages are.
Like I said amazing food it is just a shame it was served take-out boxs as it was closing time. Very poor first...

I ordered the donair wrap with fries and when it came to the table the pita bread it was served on, looked like it was at least a week old, and it was so heavily drenched in sauce I couldn't even pick it up without it falling to pieces. I kindly mentioned it to the waitress and she had no problem taking it back. A few moment later she came out and said the owner would like to remake it for me, and that the staff don't know how to make it properly. I agreed and said thank you, however much time had passed and I had to get going so I asked for it to go. When I got home I realized that the owner had scraped the old donair onto a new pita bread and put it in a panini press. I will definitely not be returning.
