⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Pet Friendly, Rude Service, and Questionable Cleanliness

I walked into this bakery carrying my tiny 8 lb puppy and was refused service on the spot. The staff’s attitude was shockingly rude, and when I politely asked why, one of the employees gave me a vague excuse about “sanitary control” supposedly coming in and pets being forbidden unless they’re support animals. The story didn’t make much sense — especially after reading other reviews mentioning cleanliness issues and even a closure of one of their other locations for similar reasons.

Honestly, the hypocrisy is laughable. If you’re going to hide behind “sanitation rules,” maybe start by keeping your own counters clean and improving basic hygiene standards.

The service was slow, the atmosphere unwelcoming, and the food mediocre at best. There are plenty of pet-friendly businesses in the area that know how to treat customers with respect and maintain cleanliness at the same time. I highly encourage everyone to support those instead.

This place has lost my trust entirely. Hopefully a competitor opens nearby — one that’s pet friendly, with good service, and maybe even a nice terrace to actually enjoy your coffee with baked goods. If you want better quality, cleanliness, and service, go to Van...

I was there for coffee this morning (April 7-2024 at 8:30 AM), We got some bakeries and coffee, But problem when I add the cream to our coffees, I saw to many chunky pieces swimming on the coffee, mean cream is not good. I told the tall girl with glasses on the counter, something wrong with the cream, usually an ordinary places , person try to help you with issue BUT girl was extremely aggressive, She said date on the cream is ok. I said I understand, than your thermoses is mot good then, it can be a left over cream or when they add the cream, they didn’t washed well etc. And I have a sensitive stomach, I can’t able tho drink coffee as is. She didn’t want to replace coffee and she said she has no other cream, Finally when I refused what she said, she took fresh cream from fridge and problem solved. My question is, How offen they wash thise thermoses, is not supposed to customers always are right? You can make an elegant place but if your staff is not matching this place what is the point we come again? All I need my sunday morning to deal one arrogant teenager, I am having a coffee almost half century, I think I have a good experience about this subject. Atmosphere at the place fine, product they have is fine, I don’t know other servers but What I got...

This cafe, situated in the Solar Quarter of Brossard, has a nice ambiance. I love the light permeating the place through high window panes. Like the other Cafe Ange in Champlain Mall, its croissants are tasty, but unfortunately, the coffee (capuccino) is watery and tastes nothing. Otherwise, I would give it 5*.

Come back to this place a few minutes after opening. There was a long queue people waiting to buy things to take out or food to be consumed on site, I don't know. There are 3 cash registers and one queue but badly organized. The confusion stems from the fact that the 3 cas registers are not before que queue head but staggered before, in the middle and well behind it. They can all serve coffee or sell bakery goods. This creates a problem of wasting time if you just want to get a hot capuccino but are the 10th person on the line while the coffee serving pos is free: you can not directly go there and order. My opinion is that they should have 1 pos specializing in coffee and 2 pos just for selling things to carry out. This is because not any employee knows how to prepare coffee other...

Food was good and atmosphere is inviting. Service was dissapointing... 4 employees with 3 chatting together while several customers waiting. Cherry on top was snarky attitude when asking questions about where to order/pay and asking for napkins. Also floors dirty and napkin stack next to cash was a mess/disorganized (which is why I asked for napkins because their napkins looked like leftover napkins from previous customer). Recommend training staff to be more curteous and to focus on cleanliness in client-facing areas. Also, an actual napkin dispenser for clients might be a good idea.

Excellent tarts! Some of the best I've ever had. I particularly like the blueberry one. The bit of sourness went so well with the cream and the tart. The it was the lemon meringue followed by the chocolate. The latter was almost as smooth as pudding and it wasn't too sweet. The one I liked the least was the flanc. There wasn't anything special about it and it was lacking a bit of egg flavour. Still worth a try.
