I stopped by the establishment to use the washroom after a long drive home. The well lit and designed menu caught my eye and lead me to investigate. My wife and I decided to give it a try as we both typically love Shawarma. Our love for the Mediterranean dish was quickly redefined I have been a Chef for over 15 years and I have tried and cooked a wide range of culinary dishes, however I must say that the food at Babaz was unbelievable. The food was made with nothing but quality and fresh ingredients. The love and passion radiated from the meal and the politeness as well as a truly happy/passionate owner made the experience complete. We chanced upon Babaz during a stopover at a Burlington Shell gas station (4000 Mainway, Burligton). It was a quaint, modern & very clean food court style setting that had Tim Horton's, Wendy's, Burrito Boyz and this Babaz. Because we have tried all the others in Toronto, we decided to try this as it was something new to us. It was like a Shawarma Fuzion place where they offered other Shawarma flavors aside from just the regular beef and chicken we are familiar with. They had Pineapple Chicken Shawarma, Pinapple Beef Shawarma, Grilled Shrimp Shawarma plate to name a few. Flavour wise, it was also very good. Babaz’ has the best shawarma I’ve ever tasted. I found this location last month and I have been going every day. The shawarma is impeccable and outperforms all other shawarma stores. The owners are very friendly and have shown exceptional service. Babaz’ online service is also phenomenal, they never fail to impress. The daily specials are great value and especially tasty. The Friday special of chicken shawarma platter is my personal favorite it tastes tremendous and is loaded with flavor.
