Last year, Burger King finally got rid of their universally-hated "Tendercrisp Chicken", and replaced it with an actual chicken product, the Crispy Chicken. The new sandwich tastes good, and has a nice mouthfeel to it. Sadly, the chicken revision didn't propagate to the rest of the menu. The chicken nuggets--both regular and spicy--are made of the same extruded "pink slime" that bears little resemblance to chicken, or to any meat, for that matter. More troublingly, so is the Crispy Chicken Junior. If you think you're getting your child a smaller portion of the Crispy Chicken sandwich you're having, think again. What junior is getting in that "Junior" is processed ground trimmings, with soybean and other stuff you'd probably rather not know about. Do your kids a favour, and taste it before you let them eat it.
The beef isn't bad, and the fries are cut thicker and have a richer potato flavour than the McDonald's ones. The buns have the same loofah-like consistency that passes for bread at many fast-food chains. There is no option to upgrade your bun to ciabatta or any other type of real bread.
The place itself is much nicer than you'd expect from a fast-food drive-through joint. None of those table-and-four-seats bolted to the floor. Several freestanding tables and real chairs, and even a couple of comfortable, upholstered booths. Noise level varies depending on who is in charge of the radio that day: a pleasantly quiet 54dB(A) one day, and a conversation-stopping 68dB(A) another day. And would it be too much to ask they invest $10 in a decent antenna for that radio? The scratchy, mistuned noise from that thing is atrocious. And if you're there during the lunchtime rush, be prepared to endure the constant beeping of the deep fryer; I know not for whom that beeper tolls.
As for prices, I think these places are incorrectly considered cheap. A basic Whopper is $6.54 after tax, and a Crispy Chicken combo is over $10. For that amount, you can get chicken parmesan on real bread at many full-service restaurants, or a large bowl of Vietnamese Pho, with beef, noodles and vegetables. At the high-end burger place one block south, a juicy 4oz burger on ciabatta will cost you $7.45, with top-grade beef and real bread.

Read moreThis location is by far the worse location I’ve ever ordered from. 3259 Appleby Line showcases the worse customer service imaginable. Yesterday I ordered through the app due to being told the app had free delivery, the order went smoothly it stated the order would be there in 50 minutes. After 1.5 hours my order never showed up, I called the location spoke to a gentlemen his words were I have no order for delivery. I asked him how is that possible, he ends up hanging up the phone. I then called again 3 times no response, eventually a woman answers asks me what I needed I told her then she goes to her co-workers speaks in a different language and never comes back on the line. I can hear them talking and saying my name but doesn’t have the decency to come back on the line and hear me out. I kept calling and calling, no response. I eventually used a different number to call, they answer after 2 rings. The lady responding was super rude the minute she answered because she knew this was so wrong and they knew they were up to funny business. She ends up yelling at me because I asked her why I couldn’t get my order and if I can’t then I need a refund. She told me for my refund I need to drive 30 minutes to the store to get my refund or contact customer service. I asked for customer service number, she specified she does not know it, I have to google it myself. So , despite me ordering delivery and not getting my food she did not care. It not like I ordered $10 worth of food it was $50 worth including a tip for the driver.
After specifying she can’t do my refund, she quickly then hangs up on me. So this whole experience made me frantic I called customer service and they did their job. At least they presented me with good service and offered me my refund.
All I can say is this location has the worse customer service and these employees need to be fired or taught what good customer service is. Employees like this is why businesses decline. Management needs to change the way they train these people ( the other reviews say the same).
I never leave a review especially a negative one but I had to let the world know the truth about this location.

Read moreMy wife and I went to this Burger King on Monday May 9th to order two Whopper Combos for our kids. The man in the drive thru named Ryan was rude from the very start of taking our order. We were patient and when we got to the window he started off by giving us the wrong drink. When we explained we ordered a sprite and not a root beer he suggested it was for the person behind us and that we didn't even ask for a drink yet he charged us for a combo. Even worse we checked the order before leaving the drive thru to confirm the toppings we requested on the whoppers was correct only to find out both burgers had the wrong toppings. When we informed him of this he called out the other female employees and told them he inputted the right toppings and they screwed up making a big scene at the drive thru window. Not only that he proceeded to pinch one of the ladies out of anger in which she told him not to do that and then started yelling at them from a distance as he was walking away from the drive thru window. The two females took over and were apologetic and wanted to correct the issue which was kind of them. Both ladies claimed he has acted this way before and that he was reported to management. When I called management today the manager also admitted to him behaving this way before and I have since requested the owner of this establishment to reach out to me to report him as his conduct was unacceptable. Very...
