I try really hard not to complain but this experience today left me with a terrible taste in my mouth. Went in today to get a $15 gift card for my brother today for Christmas (his favourite pizza spot is City Pizza and we live just down the street so are there more than we should be) at the Burlington location. I didn’t know you offered gift cards until about a week ago when I watched someone else buy one when I picked up my already ordered pizza. The man who I see very frequently (he delivered pizza to my work during the Ticats game) tried to cash me out and was struggling so he called the supervisor/manager over. After cashing another customer behind me, she pulled me to the side and asked if the gift card was for a teenager, I wasn’t sure if I heard her correctly and asked her to repeat herself and she asked if was for a teenager. I said it’s for my younger brother, he’s 15 and was told teenagers have been a “ruckus” and they are there during their busy times crowding things up and basically he could get slices if he comes. I told the two of them thanks anyways, we’re regulars and we’ll remember this. I was horrified and shocked. Who buy into a plaza next to a high school and offers pizza for $1.19 and doesn’t expect/want students?
Super disappointed as my family comes once a week a pizza or two and casually drops in for slices all the time and we make a point to get your pizza at least twice a month at my workplace. I’ve worked in a high school plaza before and I know it isn’t the easiest but it’s a huge source of income you shouldn’t be disrespecting. The pizza is okay, the price really is why we come and the customer service has always lacked but today was a whole new level.

Read moreThe best decision I have made regarding changing over from the really big pizza places. Rolled by a few times just to get the most basic test run. Walk in pepperoni pizza Slice. Very good and only a fraction of the price elsewhere. Decided to order a couple pies for delivery today. 2 medium 3 topping special. Pizza 1 reg crust, extra sauce (their pizza sauce is hands down fantastic); double pepperoni and sun-dried tomato and free fresh garlic if you ask or click on your online order. Pizza 2, green olive, mushrooms and sun-dried tomato. Reg crust, reg sauce. My 81 year old father who only eats one or two slices just inhaled a half pie! There was a little glitch with the corporate website advertising free garlic dip and tobacco sauce bottle but they will correct that. If your ordering online during the promo period, make sure you put in the code under coupon, FREEDIP. that was missing on the website where they advertise it's included when you spend a certain amount. Green light GO! ...
Read moreThe order was exactly on time for (3) pizzas and wings. I arrived at 10:50am for an 11am pick-up, and hoping to get there prior to the High School lunch rush. I was wrong. The kids we lined up out the door before 11am. Not a problem. The only comment I would say was obvious, the two staff members are quite "robotic". No personality at all. Perhaps they don't believe the teens need anything more than their slice and a soda. However, I am always personable to staff, as I once owned a restaurant. It certainly adds to the brand of the business, and the experience to make the customers feel like you want their business, and appreciate it. 185 school days of the year the volume is quite targeted for these students. I would focus upon extracting all the goodwill, and sales opportunity that I could from this limited volume. Otherwise, perhaps it was a bad day for the staff, and I would still try the...
